If it is the same as in the manga, then the drawback would be that it cannot target a female monsters for attacks.

The manga effect for this card is,

"This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with another "Number" monster. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can discard 1 card and detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls. This card must battle the turn you activate this effect, if able. This card cannot target female monsters for attacks."

well if can't attack female monster...i just summon mizuho/hand of six sam and wait for my opp to deck out'd *slapped

it will not have that effect for female.....but i believe that that first effect will be same

oblsy a female =_= even just by going on how its based on Joan of Arc or in French Jeanne d'arc...just like guardian angel Joan...

it's almost like create a card with a effect like: you can discard 1 card and destroy 1 card on the field. you can tribute a monster and draw 1 card. remember that only dark world can abuse of a rank 8 xyz and if he discards by effect, dark world thanks konami for a effect like that, but whatever, dark world is weaker than debris junk doppel and t.g. agent angel in japan, a 4500 atk easy-to-summon beater with discarding by effect bonus will not make anything for dark world, right?
he must have an restricting effect like: if this card attacks, you must detach 1 xyz material from this card. if this card doesn't have any xyz materials, it cannot attack.

I think it is easier to use Hieratic if you want to consistently get out Rank 8 Xyz. Dark World can abuse this card, but it will be hard to get 2 Grapha on the field, unless you are already winning by large advantage or if the opponent doesn't do anything.

it's a 4500 atk beater, so that's why he's used. good or bad, it isn't a forced restriction effect, just don't use it and walk above heads and heads until dying.
