Ritual are the least supported card type in the game. There isn't even a single Air Attribute ritual monster. Gishki is the only Ritual-themed archtype. Only one ritual monster was used in the entirety of ZeXal and none in 5Ds. So if they are directly stating they are building ritual support in a main-series set I think its cause for celebratory exclamation.

I guess I really am the only one who remembers episode 14 of Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. I don't mean to sound rude here since I hate rudeness so correct me if I'm wrong here. I had always thought that Lycanthrope was a Ritual Monster but as I said I could be wrong. Again sorry if I sound rude.

The point is not what generation the card is from. The point is that the False Fans complain about there not being Ritual Monsters in 5Ds even there was. They would have known that if they paid attention to every detail. Then again, the False Fans complain about and hate everything about the franchise. I just want the True Fans to enjoy the entire franchise from start to finish without others preventing that just because they want to argue or insult every card. An example is the True Fans of Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, or Cowboy Bebop. I cannot stand any of those but guess what, I'm not bothering with any of them. I don't see the reason to absolutely hate something and then go to it to put down the True Fans for liking them.

No. The point is not that the false fans complain. The point is that Ritual monsters have gotten the shortest end of the stick for a very long time and that I am happy they are being directly mentioned as being featured in a main series set alongside card-types like Xyz and Synchro which have been around for a 10th of the time Rituals have and already have 4 times the monsters and support. That is the point.

Djinn monsters are the stick add to ritual monsters. They can make just about any ritual monster you could think of either "A" easier to summon or "B" a nuisance for some decks while they remain on the field.

wait till the official ruling to state if it's just a card named "polymerization" or a card with "polymerization/fusion" in its name

because if it's the later, you can easily get Instant Fusion, Future Fusion (ban), Miracle Fusion, Parallel Fusion... etc to your hand. there might be a limit to what it can get.

If any time is right, NOW is the time to make Fossil Fusion and the Fossil monsters to debut! This way people would be more careful about filling their grave with monsters (im looking at you Shaddols and Lightsworns)

I'm still waiting for fossil fusions too. They'd have to make new ones though since Fossil Knights use warriors in the grave, fossil dragons use either dinosaurs or dragons (or maybe both) and fossil machines use machine-types. And each set has 3 fusions: Cenozoic, Mesozoic, and Paeleozoic. So you'd have to choose which types are you most likely to find in your opponents' grave to fill your extra deck with.

This card cannot be Special Summoned, and it cannot be Normal Summoned except with 3 "Qliphoth" Monster as Release. ①: This Normal Summoned card is unaffected by the effects of Magic and Trap Cards, and is unaffected by the effects of Monsters with an original Level or Rank lower than this card's Level. ②: While this card is in the Monster Zone, Special Summoned Monster lose 500 ATK and DEF.
③: Once per turn, you can activate this effect during your Main Phase. Your opponent must sent 1 Monster from their hand or field to the Graveyard.
Rare

I love the fact that this thing is allowed to have blanket effect immunity - not just destruction immunity, but card effects PERIOD - while Obelisk only gets immunity to effects that specifically designate a target (which are far and few), Slifer gets nothing, and Chicken forces you to kill yourself to not have a 0/0 on top of having no protection whatsoever (I refuse to call that ridiculously underpowered piece of garbage Ra). Not to mention how Konami hands out immunity to destruction effects like candy, and all to things that are far, far easier to get out and use than the three Gods. Things like this completely shatter any notion that the three, especially Ra, were butchered in the name of "balance." It's highly unlikely they'll ever un-nerf them since that would involve reprinting them, plus they've never done anything like that; the closest thing is changing the effect of Dark Strike Fighter to only allow you to use "Dark Strike Fighter"'s effect once per turn, during your Main Phase 1.

And while the entire Qliphoth archetype gets crazy benefits for Normal Summoned AND can take advantage of Pendulum Summons - unlike the Gods, so they continue to be dead weight - Apoqliphoth Killer is by far the worst of the lot. They're also all Machine-Type, so they get access to all that type's support as well.

Qliphoth is BROKEN!

Just when I was used to Shaddols as the new game-breaking archetype, Qliphoth pops out (curious on what their TCG name will be).

This archetype is soooo broken. Shell inflicts piercing and can attack 2 times; Genome gets rid of S/T; Tool searcher; Disk swarms the field; Archive is a walking Compulsory Evacuation Device.

On top of that, just like that was not enough, we got Apoqliphoth Killer which is unaffected by anything, lower my monsters ATK and sends one of my monsters to the grave FOR FREE!!!!

And you know what's the worst thing? That this archetype is not even completely released yet. Konami will still release bunch og Qliposhith in the next pack, not to mention TCG exclusives of this archetype that probably will come out as well.

Good thing that I do not play the real life card game but just videogames.... because YGO is a legal theft.

If you want to stay relevant in this game, just forget to build one deck and go with it.
You HAVE to buy newer cards or you will get beaten badly.

It seems like yesterday when Black Feathers were ruling the game lol
