GRIMLOCK (guest) - 2010/06/26 19:09 - link

How many?

How many players will represent Japan??

since all other Asian countries only get to send one,

Thanks!
Wakkowolf (guest) - 2010/06/26 21:43 - link

I absolutely, totally, immediately need to see the Perfect Declarer deck. 4th place!? That's amazing!! I need to know how it runs.

Stealth3 (guest) - 2010/06/27 03:05 - link

Hero Blast

I need to see that HERO BLAST deck.
Squiddoo (guest) - 2010/06/27 07:21 - link

@wakkowolf

looks something like this

3x Manju of Ten thousand hands
2x Sanju of the Thousand Hands
3x Herald of perfection
3x Herald of Orange light
2x Herald of green light
2x Herald of purple light
2x Honest
3x Tethys Goddes of light
2x SkeleAngel
1x ArchLord Kristya
2x Nova Summoner
1x Arcana Force 0 - The Fool
3x Soul of Purity and light
1x Consencrated Light
2x Dimensional Alchemist

Spells
1x Heavy storm
1x Pot of avarice
1x Brain controll
3x Dawn of herald

Traps
1x Solemn Judgement
2x Royal Decree

made famos by Russel LaParre during ycs chantily it top 8ed

the point is to get tethys onto the field and when u draw, since the monster count is so high u constantly draw again and again loading up with heralds to lock down the opponent and summon herald of perfection to negate constantly with a big hand of fairies and 2800 def which is near impossible to puncture
Omega (guest) - 2010/06/27 09:58 - link

I don't really know where you came up with that deck list, but that deck seems to operate way too slowly. You don't need any of the other declarers aside from Perfect because Perfect acts like all of them.

Typically a Perfect Declarer works like this

1. Play Advanced Ritual Art, send 2 level 2 and 2 level 1 Cloudian to the graveyard
2. Since there are 4 Angels/Fairy in the Graveyard now, Special Summon Archangel Christia, Christia returns one Cloudian to hand
3. You have now successfully locked down opponent's magic, trap, monster effects, and special summons, and only Divine Wrath/Gladiator's War Chariot can go through. This is why you would probably also play Royal Decree in the deck. Some deck even go to the extreme of using Salvage or Dark Factory to return Cloudians to hand as ammo. The deck is very potent obviously.

Re: Omega

Summon Banisher of Radiance, 2 Smashing Grounds, attack.

This is why I don't like Declarer too much. I myself is a Beatdown player and I made my decks to kill the meta or any lockdown decks.
It is just the Banisher is a bit difficult to draw.

Luckily not so many players go with Dimension Standard nowadays
MasterSephiroth - 2010/06/29 12:17 - link

Decklist should be something like this...

Monster (24):
3x Herold of Perfection
1x Ruin, Queen of Oblivion (/Pot of Greederosity)
3x Archlord Kristya
3x Manju of tenthousand Hands
3x Sonic Bird
3x Mystical Shine Ball/Happy Lover
3x Wolkian - Smoke Ball
2x Honest
1x Gyakutenno Megami
1x Dunames dark Witch (/Pot of Greederosity)
1x Holy Light

Spells (13):
3x Preparation of Rites
3x Dark Factory of Massproduction
2x Salvage
2x Pot of Avarice
1x Advanced Ritual Arts
1x Heavy Storm
1x Giant Trunade

Traps (2):
2x Royal Decree (sometimes they use Royal Oppression)

...should be obvious how it works...it's like omega said...
DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2010/07/05 15:12 - link

@Omega

Well, that deck placed about 5.-8. in a Shonen Jump O.ô

It works pretty awesome, because once you drew more than 3 times with Thetys (which happens to be not so rarely), then it's almost impossible for the opponent to come through that advantage PLUS if you don't draw a fairy, it will most likely be a Decree/Dawn of Herald.
Because you have tons of cards in hand, including the 3 heralds, you can lock down what ever he does, and because the Perfect Herald also is a fairy, you may drew into him and a senju/manju, thus you got the 6 cards hand+thetys+herald+decree lock.
next turn you will most likely reload your hand, probably do a Christia after a Pot of A.
and so on.
See how awesome it is/how [ironic]inconsistent[/ironic] :P ?
xD

Please BF- whirlwind deck!!! Awesone BF win!!! No Infernity, no fabled, 1° and 2° place!!

...

i hope they show the bf decklist

wut? (guest) - 2010/07/02 05:55 - link

I doubt it.

Most qualifying countries do not show the decklists of their top players. To have a slight advantage when it comes to the Worlds, because opponents do not know the build they used.

How does Ptera-Control work?

Dark Signer Shadow (guest) - 2010/06/28 13:07 - link

That's what I've been wondering

From the looks of it, the deck uses Scrubbed Raid with Ptera, Quillbolt, etc to negate attacks. It also has Imperial Custom and Starlight to protect all continuous.
Then on top of that, with Imperial Iron Wall, Plaguespreader, Ptera/Sangan, and Quillbolt, it can produce a multitude of Synchros, while returning Ptera back to the hand.
San san (guest) - 2010/06/29 04:16 - link

Does anybody know who were the players who got 1th & 2th?

Tsuna (guest) - 2010/07/01 03:29 - link

Mixed Feelings

Glad to see BW still doing good somewhere since the TCG smashes them to bits. Also how in the blue hell of James Woods are there Hero Beat decks winning? Half of the cards look situational as hell and the rest just make no sense to begin with.

Belgian Blue (guest) - 2010/07/03 15:08 - link

How do you get 9 decks in top 8 ?

Lentra - 2010/07/04 01:10 - link

I don't get it.....

What's with the Snowman Eaters in the West tournament? They don't really seem to mesh well with the decks they're in.

YamiKuriboh (guest) - 2010/07/04 09:30 - link

Snowman eater

They're used instead of rykos, as rykos can easily be lost to nobleman of crossout. Plus it has 1900 def so can pop a Rai-oh and remain on the field to be used for synchros.
MasterSephiroth - 2010/07/04 13:03 - link

Plus...

...if you play Debris Dragon, then you're able to summon Gungir...
Lentra - 2010/07/04 16:11 - link

Okay, I understand now. Thanks.
