1st! :D

No! i want a Crow,Jack, Evil Johan(GX) or Axel Brodie's(GX) duel disk's !! They are more cool!!

Dako_17 (guest) - 2010/06/26 17:06

para que un duel disk?

dos palabras..para atrás...
Seucu (guest) - 2010/06/24 16:58

When are we getting a Wheel of Fortune Disk?

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2010/06/25 01:50

This is not only redundant, it's even lamer than the first time simply because it's redundant. If they were marketting these toys to kids they would probably be better off doing Lua and LUna's disks (not cause their kids but cause the disks look like they were designed/modified by the kids). Yusei's disk still looks like he modified one he stole from Kaiba Corp's museum of virtual history. The only disk he's used of any interest is the 6-shooter. He was channeling Clint Eastwood with that thing.

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2010/06/25 02:42

I guess, on the bright side theres the RFP and Extra deck feature. I'm curious where those sections will be located. Are they on Yusei's disk in the anime.
danierulynx - 2010/06/26 09:18

RFG'ed cards have always been slid into the duelist's back pocket, and during Aki's duel vs. Kinomiya it was shown that the Extra Deck is kept in a hidden compartment on the opposite side of the Duel Disk to where the Main Deck is kept.
arctic (guest) - 2010/06/25 02:01

i'm just glad that they made the duelist device again. i wanted one of those.

RedEyesFan - 2010/06/25 04:29

The price...

will be...

7500 yen.....

now the sale rate will depend on the promo cards...
any more things like Starlight Road and this over price and useless YGO merchandise will sell like hotcakes.

atleast make the Duel Disk hold a PSP or a NDS/3DS...

MasterSephiroth - 2010/06/25 08:26

New areas...

...holy cow...I want this shit **.....extra areas.....**.......need.....this **

Omega (guest) - 2010/06/26 03:35

So what kind of overpowered "must-get" promo this time?

We had Arms Hole, Prisma, Diskguy, and Starlight so far?

Pretty stupid to put those cards as promo in a disk a lot of people would just get rid of or resell, but hey sales comes first for a corporation obviously.
danierulynx - 2010/06/26 09:16

Diskguy came with WC07, not a Duel Disk.
grounder (guest) - 2010/06/26 06:10

it would be fun if they release speed world 2 and a pack of speed spells here. lol.

MasterSephiroth - 2010/06/26 10:50

Something about speed spells and such....

...have you ever recognized that a speed duel is only a normal duel WITHOUT the fear of spells? could just run anfast spellless deck and beat your opponent without activating any spell!...
Luciano (guest) - 2010/06/26 16:43

Turbo Duels

oh c'mon turbo duels are fun..There is Speed world 2 with its effects and the other Speed spells that can be activated only if you have a certain number of speed counters... In reality it can be done but to me there are very few speed spells...Konami should release more of theme...But enough of this..Speed World will never become a true card..

Scion of the FLames (guest) - 2010/08/11 01:24

Yusei's only got 2 current spell cards not out in OCG yet and it's a slim chance he'll get many more before november. There could still be a chance . . . But right now I'd say Battle Waltz will probably be in his Duelist Pack and Synchro Gift will probably be in the 703 set. So my best guess is that the 5 promos will be 2 monsters and 3 traps. Maybe we'll get Shooting Star or Stardust Flash. It would be great if we got Synchro Spirits as it would also cover Aki's unreleased traps since she aslo has it in her deck.

BattleTuga (guest) - 2010/09/23 20:28

Cool,i want one!

I want one but i need to know if its will be selling in Portugal.
Please answer this question becouse I really want one Duel Disk.
Thanks for your attencion.

shriek - 2010/09/23 22:15

well, those only get sold in japan, so it could become rather expensive to get one.
and it's not like they're being sold everywhere...
patrick (guest) - 2010/10/17 06:30

Do they come with D-Wheels?

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2010/10/18 20:48

I wonder if Blizzard Lizard, Ice Mirror, and Drain Strike will come out now. Sigh . . . I still wish we got cards from the duelists in the Fortune Cup. The level warriors, the Mad Profiler, the rest of the freudian deck as well.

HalfDemonInuyasha - 2010/10/18 20:50

Fitzgerald is still nice overall, even though it lost is effect of destroying all monsters that battles with it (or copies) at the end of the Battle Phase.

Zumwald was heavily (and understandably) nerfed with its milling, though it DID regain its equalizing-ATK effect. Wish it was 5 cards or equal to the Level of the destroyed monster or something rather than simply 3. I'd rather just use Chain Dragon then in terms of simply milling since all that needs to do is inflict Battle Damage for milling 3 cards.

And, like the others, non-Tuners of the Deck they were used in; Beast for Fitzgerald (because of Blizzard Lizard being Beast...weirdly enough) and Insect for Zumwald because of Ushio's Dark Signer Deck.

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2010/10/18 21:19

Jet Black Zumwalt
- Relatively easy to summon (Dark Bug + Level 3 DARK Tuner)
- Cannot be destroyed as a result of battle.
- When it attacks, it gains the same amount of ATK if it battles a monster with greater ATK power. (Does not apply if it is attacked)
- Mill is decent, but nothing too special.
- Certain cards are able to counter it.

Freezing Fitzgerald
- Level 5 makes it easy to summon with Junk Synchron's effect on a Level 2 Beast.
- Has "Antique Gear"-esque effect.
- High ATK for a Level 5 Synchro (2500).
- Can Special Summon itself from the Graveyard in face-up Defense Position (2500 DEF) by discarding a card from your hand. (However, this is only done when it is destroyed in battle).

Mr. Nurgle (guest) - 2010/10/18 22:38

So, yeah, predicting Dark Flat Top for one of the others, given that that's the only Dark Synchro not released yet.

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2010/10/18 22:57

Re: Mr. Nurgle

This promo promises "Synchro Monsters from the anime."
Including Dark Flat Top, there are currently 4 (FOUR) unreleased Synchro monsters from the anime. The others being Blood Mephist and Determined Daredevil.
This promo has 5 cards, 2 of which are revealed. Do the math.
EDIT: Forgot about Combat Wheel, but that was played by a generic filler character.
yoyoyo (guest) - 2010/10/18 23:22

There's also Combat Wheel but I'd rather have the other ones mentioned.
Mr. Nurgle (guest) - 2010/10/19 02:02

Dark Flat Top
Determined Daredevil
Blood Mephist

Is what we're expecting?
Wolfgang DelaSangre - 2010/10/19 07:25

Like Fitz's new art, hate the effect. Even with the discard, they should've left in its "Touch me and die" effect.

Hate Zumwald's new artwork, but I'm digging its new effect. Though I agree with that other guy, 5 would've been better, or equal to the destroyed monster's Level. Still, it will mill 3 every time it destroys a monster in battle, and it's always gonna kill something, so, yeah.

Expecting Dark Flat Top and Determined Daredevil as two of the other Synchros. Would like Combat Wheel too since Blood Mephist would be better released elsewhere.

Also, while I like that they finally added an Extra Deck and RFG space, I really wish they'd make a Jack Atlas disk. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Best disk design ever.

ShiroRyu - 2010/10/19 12:10

Pretty cool

Frozen Fitzgerald is a 2500ATK Level 5 monster, which is pretty cool since it can go head-to-head with Stardust, which Magical Android couldn't. It's requirements are pretty easy to come by as well for certain decks, e.g. Crystal Beasts can sync Krebons with Amethyst Cat (which I quite like as it's an alternative to Naturia Beast). It's also WATER, which is good news for Abs0 users.

Jet Black Zumwalt is amazing, before you notice he needs a non-Tuner Insect, which is rather hard to come by in decks running DARK Tuners. Being able to attack anything and survive is amazing, and if it gets hit by something your opponent loses the top 3 cards of their deck. Since Needle Worm is a non-Tuner Insect, it's pretty easy to see which deck this works best in.

On an interesting note, both of these would be available to X-Sabers with the addition of a LV1 DARK Tuner to their decks. In any case, I'm just psyched to finally see Frozen Fitzgerald in card form. :3

Neoparshath (guest) - 2010/10/19 14:42

Unfair Nerf

Why did Fitzgerald lose it's suicide effect?
It makes it harder to use than Machina Fortress, who had the same "Touch me and die" effect, I don't understand why they killed the effect. I understand someone could use Fitzgerald to ram into DAD, and still have defense, but they could've just written, "When this card is attacked..." At least the discard cost will help Fabled (Demonic Roar Gods) decks.
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2010/10/19 21:36

Last I saw, Frozen Fitzgerald only destroyed monsters that attacked it anyway, not simply ones it battled in general.

The cost would help the Demon Roar God BEASTS more though, lol.
skyphertheslydragon (guest) - 2010/10/19 22:18

More Tag Force 4 game exclusives being released. I wish we could get some of the other in game exclusives printed (even though they are from previous games). An example being Miracle Contact (which will never happen now, since GX anime is long over). Illusion Gate would also have been an interesting card, though they would probably have changed its life point reduction effect.

Back on topic, these synchros can be used in quick-draw decks:

Junk Synchron + Ryko = Frozen Fitzgerald
Junk Synchron + Level Eater (Stealer) = Jet Black Zumwalt

yoyoyo (guest) - 2010/10/20 04:22

or Dark Bug + Junk Synchron/Gale
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2010/10/20 05:27

I doubt it's because of them being Game Originals. When you consider the fact that One Hundred-Eye Dragon came out pretty soon, followed by Arachne and Zeman, then it's only to be expected that the others would come out eventually, so I wouldn't get up my hopes on (other) Game Originals coming out for the hell of it, especially if they're from past series' like Miracle Contact, unless we get lucky and/or the timing just happens to be right.

Phantom Gate would've been extremely nerfed had it come out. A Raigeki + opponent-sided Monster Reborn while ignoring the Summoning conditions and a 90% LP reduction not even happening until the End Phase...
MasterSephiroth - 2010/10/20 09:26

Fableds love Fitzgerald I think...

...because you can just Junk Synchron + The Fabled Nozuchee. And Merchant loves Zumwaldt, because Carrier + Eater + Eater (or Merchant) = Zumwaldt or how ever he is spelled...
Lentra - 2010/10/20 15:36

An Ojama for all Seasons

Definitely adding Frozen Fitzgerald to my Ojama deck. Junk Synchron + Ojama [Color] to bring it out, then drop an Ojamagic when it's destroyed in battle. And the matching ATK/DEF means Ojama Country doesn't bother it much, too.....

Luciano (guest) - 2010/11/10 15:27

Blood Mephist

I hope Blood Mephist doesn't get his status changed... It's actually pretty good against those Lock Decks

ShinobiPhoenix - 2010/11/11 04:59

-- Dark Flat Top is nice for those who was waiting.

-- Determined Daredevil, unchanged and nice.

...errr... I mean... it's ok.

I will await the confirmed effect, but it's still going to be unchanged for my current Jonah Falcon/Peter North-size dick strategy with it.

Dark Raku (guest) - 2010/11/11 06:39

Yay for DFT

YAY! For Dark Flat Top! Finally my Reactot deck can be rebuilt.
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2010/11/11 20:06

Dark Flat Top - The effect makes it a little more restrictive in use in that, for the first effect anyway, it only works for an Air Raid-based Deck. Obviously the 2nd effect is more meant for that too (since Summon Reactor AI is Level 5 while RR and AID are both lower), but at least it's any Level 5 or lower Machine-Type monster.

Determined Daredevil - Gives Six Samurai a secondary Synchro to mess around with. Also could have a little bit of fun with Forbidden Holy Lance on it and make it immune to other m/t while lowering its ATK by 800, thus your opponent's monster with 1601+ ATK will be auto-killed by it.

Blood Mephist - Nice that it seems to be unchanged.

Ark also said that the Japanese wiki has it down as 500 damage for both of its effect (so possible that it's x 500 per card opponent controls during each of their Standby Phases and 500 damage when they Set a m/t) o_o

At the very least, it could (especially if it's 500 and not 300) possibly help control the exploding that's been going on, especially since it's during your opponent's Standby Phase (first effect). So you bring it out, do some damage, end your turn, then your opponent takes damage unless they got something they can use during their Draw Phase to get rid of it or something.

Also nice that none of them are Nomi either (as far as we know).
zombie.master (guest) - 2010/11/20 19:46
