Oblol

This deck is boring......

L the one (guest) - 2009/11/17 11:23

Why isn't anyone playing lightning warrior in their extra deck ?
Anonymous (guest) - 2009/11/17 12:49

Its not even gamebreaking.
shriek - 2009/11/17 18:34

you can't play with cards that aren't released yet.
that's why there is no lightning warrior....
panda (guest) - 2009/11/17 09:30

Wow... what a new and inventive deck!

Nintendog (guest) - 2009/11/17 14:05

Go Go GB's!

I haven't seen a GB deck winning in a while. I'm happy!

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/11/17 14:24

Whoopie!!!

Glads FTW...but it's quite uncommon type XDD

andrew (guest) - 2009/11/17 14:56

No tuner!!!

This deck doesn't have any tuner!! X__X

andrew (guest) - 2009/11/17 14:57

No spellcasters either...

How do you synchron summon arcanite without a spellcaster?
TKHM - 2009/11/17 20:43

Just filler

At first glance, the opponent would think that they're playing with some deck that uses synchros instead of GBs (6 cards, Gyzarus and Heraklinos).
marshmallows - 2009/11/17 21:23

it has kycoo which is magician
marshmallows - 2009/11/17 21:24

ancient fairy dragon is odd

Wolfgang DelaSangre (guest) - 2009/11/17 22:59

Odd things

There's no way for it to Synchro Summon. If it ever got the opportunity to Synchro Summon, it's because the opponent gave them a Tuner via Creature Swap or something.

The large number of traps also surprises me, as does the choice to run 3x Gladial Trainer, but I can see how it would work out in the end. Overall, I'm rather impressed with this build (still hate Prisma and Rescue Cat with a passion, though).

Hasn't anyone heard YGO is some XX% mind games?

Having an Extra Deck w/ no Tuners gives the impression to your opponent you're playing a different kind of deck. It's like Gadget Oppression w/o Tragoe or Brain/Mind Control having a full Extra Deck.

This strategy isn't new at all, back before the 15-card Extra Deck limit, people splashed in Fusions when unnecessary. And back in the Dark Armed vs. Glad. Beast time over a year ago some DAD decks splashed Gyzarus into their Extra Decks so they can show it to the opponent & make the opponent think they're running Glads.

It's an old & simple practice; take a chance & make your opponent play differently before you reveal it's a deck they weren't making the right moves for.

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/11/18 11:58

Also

it's just bad if you don't fill the missing slots, just in case...
Onemorning (guest) - 2009/11/18 18:34

Normal

It was quite usual to have Fushion/Extra Deck even you can't fuse or syncho
sasuke (guest) - 2009/11/18 20:42

cool

at least this deck has prisma in it good job joy nicely done
xtreemmasheen3k2 (guest) - 2009/11/23 23:43

Proving Ground

These Japanese decks tend to like running 3 Proving Grounds I guess. The whole lot of traps tend to make themselves worth it since you're pretty much making it harder for your opponent to overwhelm you. And Royal Decree will only go so far in stopping this deck.

Me I'd personally run 1-2 My Body as a Shield though in this meta, but then again, MBaaS doesn't stop Catastor, Chaos Sorcerer, etc. I'd adjust the side though. IMO, getting rid of Royal Oppression is just too important.
