First Time First One

hmm...they use the same and the same decktype again and again. Dragon, Zombie, Spellcaster and now Machine's. After this one, they should use new decktypes.

SynjoDeonecros - 2009/09/02 19:27

Agreed. I dunno what Konami's aversion to making structure decks with themes outside of the obvious ones is, but it's really ridiculous.

One good thing about this deck, though, is the name; Machiners Command seems to allude to an expansion on the Machiner's set of monsters, and if so, that means we'll finally be able to get them in the US.
Fishdude (guest) - 2009/09/06 22:29

Fish Starter Deck

I honestly want them to make more Fish support, even structure decks, and for sure Booster Packs!! Well Fish/Water.
Averosse (guest) - 2009/09/26 11:49

Insect Starter Deck

Oh cmon ive seen all the type decks already and are sick of seeing the same decks over and over again

Insects have been an understudy in Yugioh, me and my friends are clammering for an insect deck and also to make an Insect king since they have insect queen out
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2009/09/02 19:57

reply

Man, if this turns out to be true (given it's unconfirmed), then my prediction is right...I'd expect a new Dinosaur SD for SD19 after this, again, if it's true.

MasterSephiroth - 2009/09/02 21:08

Re HalfDemonInuyasha

I don't agree with that. As you maybe know, Dinosaur's Rage was SD09 and Machine's Revolt was SD10, and until now, the order of the Decks were as the old order was, so Dragon (SD1), Zombie (SD2), Spellcaster (SD6) and now Machine (SD10), so I don't expect Dinosaurs as the next theme. Maybe. Something. But I would like to, cause I like the Jurac cards, cause of the artworks.
TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/09/02 22:27

Re: MasterSephiroth

Well "Warrior's Strike" (SD17) came after the Spellcaster's Command (SD16) while the first warrior structure deck (SD5) came before the first spellclaster one (SD6). Granted, it was a Dual structure deck, but it had PLENTY of warrior monsters and support cards.
MasterSephiroth - 2009/09/02 22:58

Re: TheDarkAngelRocket

Your right about that, so if we want to be exactly, than is the "SDRL"-Structure Deck no Dragon-Theme-Deck, so then it would mean, that all the second types (Zombie, Spellcaster, Machine) were reprinted now and maybe they begin now with the first (Dragon, Warrior, Dinosaurs), what I'm not hoping for. Maybe the first were reprinted with these Theme-Structure Decks (SDRL, Warrior's Strike) so now it would be logical, that we get Dinosaurs. But not, as a type-only theme-deck, but as a theme-deck. Hopefully Jurac. Nobody knows konami's mind.
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2009/09/05 20:21

reply

Or maybe more stuff that Special Summons higher Level ones...or at least in general from your hand...make Dino Beast more usable XP lol. I'm not really expecting DT stuff in the SDs though. Especially since Jurac is still fairly new as opposed to the introduction of X-Sabers and whatnot.

And considering we seemingly randomly got Fossil Examination in ANPR too which helps search out some higher Level Dinosaurs from the Deck.
Fossil Fusion (guest) - 2009/09/02 20:43

Machiners?

Machiner's Force! XD Might just be a name and not the actual monsters. But cool, can't wait.

naviassassin (guest) - 2009/09/02 21:03

machine deck! well..after gadget..now is machiner's turn? 0,0??

power up version of em? :) hope so..

will dimensional prison be in this deck? it will be cool..since it is a protection card for deck like gadget..but since this is machiner's..maybe can be too? jus a hope and dream :) hehe

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/09/02 22:24

Machiners?!

Crap, not another machine structure deck.
Wonder if this means there will be the HORRIBLE Machiners monsters in there.
My guess is that in Absolute Powerforce they'll have machine and/or "Machiner" monsters...

Anonyme (guest) - 2009/09/03 10:57

Anonyme

Totally agree with you.
belial, marquis of darkness (guest) - 2009/09/10 01:14

new decktypes

so they are now going in format of the previous deck types from the last sturcture decks? i was really banking on a fiend structure deck, since SD13 never made it here. damn ude
meehh machines (guest) - 2009/09/03 07:25

Lollapalooza

cyber valley common of course..something else like jinzo'zzzz i dunno what else should come here dimensional prission hopefully...what else, what else...

Wolfgang DelaSangre (guest) - 2009/09/03 09:03

"Machiners" Command?

Sounds like something that'll be focusing around the Machiner's monsters and Commander Convington.

Andy (guest) - 2009/09/03 09:47

with the TCG not having the Machiner's monsters this isn't to awful if they are in it.

Kotori - 2009/09/03 14:35

RE: SD18

So this time they are focusing on Machine eh? I hope they can print some decent cards that boost and benefit machines even more..Also, most likely to compensate the loss of banning Dark Dive Bomber..

"Machiners Command"..Either it boost Machiners (just like most ppl say) OR just a name to keep the suspense of the monsters printed in this Deck.. You can't always judge a book by its cover! (:

Antique Gears was an ok Deck, thanks to some help from Gear Town and its ability to prevent the activation of Magic and Trap cards when it battles. Cyber Dragon..do not even talk about it, the key card still quarantined in the Limited Zone. Gradius and its crews was quite good thanks to Honest and Cyber Eltanin.

Also, this "unconfirmed" news may give us a clue that Machine Emperor Wisel may be printed in the future sets (Just my guess).. But I am sure Machines will get some boost in Absolute Powerforce, like what the preview infomation stated, and this deck.

ORiGaMe (guest) - 2009/09/03 16:29

My hope is...

Remember guys Ally of Justice monsters are machine-types too and i hope someones be inside the new Structure Deck..

Hope are the last to die :)
ORiGaMe (guest) - 2009/09/03 16:31

And

Genex monsters are machine too e dont exist in TCG
TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/09/03 16:51

Why Machines?

My guess is...
They will have a lot of Machine monsters in this pack because it is very likely Dark Glass' Tech Genius monsters will be released in Absolute Powerforce.

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/09/03 20:38

Oh no, people!

I hope they don't make this deck around those AWFUL Machiner's!
I hope this is in it:
1x Jinzo(I already have one, but yeah^^)
1x Cyber Dragon
1x Cybervalley(I need 2^)
1x Prison(Because Bribe, Burden and co. where in previous decks...)
I hope it's around Genex, A-O-J, or anything good...
Or morphtronics might...or even the Bombers?
I hope "Absolute Powerforce" includes more Machine-Type Synchros, best would be
a LV7, because then Salvo Machine would work again...Powertool actually IS LV7-Machine-Synchro, but with a BAD effect :s

Rex (guest) - 2009/09/08 22:19

Re: Power Tool

Power tool 1 of the best Sychron monster. Hes effect is cool. You cant kill if he have some equip..My D-tool deck is very good. Morptronic+Power tool Dragon FTW

Whit Mage power or united or Big bang shot
Delta (guest) - 2009/09/09 03:25

Oh yes!

Yep it is fully around Machiners Archetype
Chewydog - 2009/09/10 03:04

re: powertool dragon

ive used it with united westand and 3 mage power in the deck and it werks great with all of my other weak morphers
JvS - 2009/09/11 12:31

The probability to have cybervalley inside is quite high.

Woohoo +.d(◕∀◕*)♪゚+~ Machine Deckie

NOTE: OCG TERMS APPLIED~

Awesome ヽ(◕。◕*)ノ Machine Deck, Antique Gear series in SD10 Rebellion of Machine, Cyber get reprinted again, I'm quite sure Cyber Dragon will be reprinted again, (*◕○◕)=3はぁー now it sure became a junk already ┐('~`;)┌ 仕方がない Hmmm... δ(◕ω◕`)ウーン…most ppl here thought of Machiner since the name suggests itself, yup (*◕ω◕)(*-ω-)(*◕ω◕)(*-ω-)ゥィゥィ♪ it would be cool ( ///~◕) カッコイイ if KONAMI reprint Machiner's series, 4600 Attacker, strongest in ori ATK Machine Type if I'm not mistaken, along with cards that work with them. Machiners need recruiters, more recruiters to assembles the parts on the field and cards that keep them in play. Instant summoning support cards like "Damage Condenser" and Machine Version of "Urgent Teleport" will be great boost to the archetype, +.d(◕∀◕*)♪゚+ KONAMI will throw in Life Points recoveries cards for sure if they gonna go for Machiner's Force.

What others Machine archetype, let see, Gadget, Deformer, Ally of Justice, Genex, Reactor, Big Viper relatees... ermmm... Big Viper (゜д゜0)... I don't like Big Viper to be in this deck. (*>.<*)~やめて!!! If A.O.J. and Genex get competitive as they revolve around Synchro but Structure Deck never have Extra Deck (*◕~◕*) 疑わしい so guess not... No doubt that further support cards will released in Absolute Powerforce, like SD17 Warrior's Strike. (o◕∩◕)ノ 必ず
SD18 Machiner's Command, will there be a Field Spell Card oriented-Deck like SD15 Undead World and SD16 Lord of Magician (?´◕ω◕`)ナニナニ Machine Field, hmmm... I can only think of Geartown...

Talk too much... (*◕ω◕0)~スエット

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/09/05 11:25

Big Viper?!?

What the hell is Big Viper?!?!?

Big Viper is Gradius in TCG (。◕‿◕。)

(*◕ω◕0)~スエット Sorry, I made a mistake, it is supposed to be Vic Viper~ (*^o^0)
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2009/09/09 20:42

reply

Yes!!! More Union support, FTW!! About freaking time! XP

And even more Union support in Absolute Powerforce, similar to how there was Dual-based stuff in SOVR to go along with SD17, will be fun too.

Maybe it'll make some things like VWXYZ more usable. (And my "itsu" Deck and whatnot XD.)

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/09/09 22:09

Structure Deck 18

Union monsters? I expect V-Z in this set.
Whatever cards it may be, they better be able to support the Union cards. Union kinda sucked...

RiverShock - 2009/09/10 06:09

Unions don't suck. Hell, they've probably got the best sub-type-specific supports in the game. Roll Out! and Frontline Base are great support cards, especially the former. I don't expect this deck to contain VWXYZ monsters. It will use the others. The only one I fully expect is Dark Blade and one or more of its Unions. Beyond that, I'm not sure what they'll use out of the specific monster ones like Burning/Freezing Beast and Vampire Orchis/Des Dendle, or generic ones like Heavy Mech Support Platform and Armor Breaker.
Yojilk (guest) - 2009/09/10 17:21

I don't think they'll be recycling mutch, cause they want to make a "Union themed" so they need to come up with some new cards or bring some of the japanese ones that have a sorth of similar structure (machiners) altho i do agree on them putting either a set of V-Z or a Set of Dark Blade, i lean more to the Dark Blade
ShinobiPhoenix - 2009/09/10 11:59

So is the next deck going to be...?

-- Flip (Worm Deck, TCG finally gets those)
-- Spirit (odd, but possible get a replacement for Tsukuyomi)
or
-- Toon (even more odd, but it would be nice to see some Toon Synchros in deck or in set, yes, Toon Stardust Dragon or Toon Junk Warrior)

HalfDemonInuyasha - 2009/09/10 20:48

reply

As I speculated, chances are that SD19 will end up being Dinosaur-Type-based (Being SD09 previously) before they, hopefully, move onto other Types/Archetypes/etc.

Stuff I'd expect to be in this would be...(considering it's a MACHINE SD, not a UNION SD, so any Unions involved will most likely be Machines like the Dual Monsters in SD17 were Warrior-Type)

Union Rider
Heavy Mech Support Platform
Metallizing Parasite - Lunatite (only because of the "Metallizing" part, lol)
Armored Cybern (though that'd also require Cyber Dragon and/or its Fusions)
Frontline Base
Combination Attack
Formation Union
Get Ride!

...I DO have small hope for VWXYZ involvement though too. Make them more easily accessible and all.
me (guest) - 2009/10/05 11:22

hey!!!

don´t be stupid fucking fat freak, KONAMI DON´T sell shit to PIGS LIKE YOU!!!! KONAMI sell´s the best so STOP!!!! DAYDREAMING!!!!
Yojilk (guest) - 2009/09/10 17:18

Wow! Union monsters are back :) i remember i had one mean Dark Blade with his dragons one xD fun times to play something original, seems this one is themed on the Megadrones (sp?) from Power Rangers =P

JvS - 2009/09/11 12:32

Konami should think abt something new. Like Physhic Deck.

HalfDemonInuyasha - 2009/09/11 20:51

reply

They most likely have something prepared for after they complete this 2nd round of SDs given, as said, they're basically "remakes" of the 1st generation; Dragon, Zombie, Spellcaster, Warrior, Machine, and most likely Dinosaur next. Of course, they skipped the Attribute-based SDs. So assuming the next SD is a Dinosaur one, they'll probably have a Plant one, a Psychic one, an Insect one, etc since they've gotten a bunch of things since TDGS.
Chewydog - 2009/09/12 05:14

psychics and jinzo

thats my deck and i have'nt lost yet and i have the wierdest synchros too LOL
Deuvilsscientia (guest) - 2009/09/17 14:32

Well, if it a new themed deck it should be . . .

Hmm just wondering, why konami didn't make fiend structure deck, hehe if I could request for it . . . =P cz I think Fiend is one of Yu Gi Oh noble monsters type.

BH15 (guest) - 2009/09/21 11:29

They did

They pretty much did with the japanese DARK structure deck. Contained mostly fiend monsters in it, so yeah, they did make a fiend deck, but it was both japanese and an attribute deck, so probably no dice.
Kratt (guest) - 2009/09/23 19:13

Why Machines?! Why not Fairy???? I'm still waiting for mi S.D. Fair c'mon the Fairy is one of the more ignored and unsuported monsters...

ShiroRyu - 2009/10/05 20:53

Ignored maybe, unsupported no - there's plenty of support for them.
If you want to find an unsupported monsters, we could take a look at Sea Serpent - practically no support for these guys whatsoever (aside from generic WATER support as most type-specific WATER support goes for Aqua in the case of frogs and Fish in the case of everything else).
Dinosaurs are another group. They have big hitters and a ROTA for level 5s or lower but that's it pretty much.
The amount of fairy support trumps these 2.

Anyway... sorry for the rant... back on topic now. It's interesting they have decided to go for the Machiners cards (although it was rather obvious from the title). Hopefully it'll be more decent than the currently-existing Machiners cards (Sniper and Soldier are pretty cool but I don't like the idea of Covington/Machiners Force). I'm also hoping Machiners Fortress won't be like Force (requiring 3 Machiners sent to the grave by a non-Machiners monster) and have super-high DEF in place of ATK, because that would just suck (unless it had some mad-cool effects).
TheDarkAngelRocket (guest) - 2009/10/05 13:04

Machiner's Fortress

Yeah, the cover card is a Machiner's monster. Oh boy...

KnightofDestany (guest) - 2009/10/06 21:37

hmm

hmm he's lv. 7 and earth, so most of the cards will be earth...I also hope cyber valley is in....

and I wonder if the unions will finally see play in YGO
SynjoDeonecros - 2009/10/06 22:28

Well, at the very least, the TCG will likely be able to get the Machiner's monsters, finally. That, and we'll get some much-needed Union support.

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/10/15 12:03

Dimipris!!!

Finally Dimensional Prison has got reprinted!!!
We got it, yayayay!!!

TheDarkAngelRocket (guest) - 2009/10/15 13:08

10/15/09: Machiner's Command

Machiner's Fortress
- Level 7, 2500 ATK (decent/average), 1600 (low)
- "You can discard Machine-Type monsters whose Levels are 8 or more to Special Summon this card." (Somewhat typical summoning requirement- decent in the fact that machines are very abundant in this game.)
- "When this card is destroyed in battle, destroy 1 card your opponent controls." (A good effect although it can be negated)
- "Also, when this face-up card is targeted by the effect of an opposing Effect Monster, look at your opponent's hand and discard 1 card from it." (Discard is good but the effect monster's effect can still activate).

ShinobiPhoenix - 2009/10/15 13:21

Except...

That you can Special Summon it that way from the Graveyard as well as hand. That bit is not typical and makes it quite a ways more usable, though I still think the design as a whole is very randomly tacked together.
kyuubinoyouko (guest) - 2009/10/15 16:34

Well well well...

First Dark Bribe, now Dimensional Prison... What is the world coming to when Konami decides to show us this much love?

HalfDemonInuyasha (guest) - 2009/10/15 20:39

reply

It's a very good start I must say.

Pretty clear that it's meant to partially be an anti-meta card.

- Pretty easy, but balanced, optional Special Summon, pretty much forcing it to be a Machine-based Deck if you want its Special Summon, so it's not exactly something you can (easily) throw into a bunch of Decktypes. Otherwise, still requiring 2 Tributes (or 1 or 0 with Star Blast, Mausoleum, Level Conversion Lab, etc.)

- The effects compliment eachother; it dies in battle, you can take 1 of your opponent's cards with it. 2500 is not that hard to tie or surpass these days with various Special Summon/Synchro Monsters like Goyou Guardian, Black Feather - Armored Wing, Dark Simorgh, Dark Armed Dragon, etc. Otherwise, if they want to hit it with an (targeting) Effect Monster, it STILL takes 1 of your opponent's cards with it, but from their hand instead of their field. Things like DAD, Gyzarus, Gale of the Hurricane, etc. However, as said, it does not negate the effect in any way, so it's balanced in that the effect still works.

So, in a small way, damned if you do, damned if you don't. Obviously there are ways around it, but that's what helps balance it.

So it's actually pretty decent overall, yet balanced and themed enough so it's requires a Deck more suited for it.

DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2009/10/18 13:03

Hand Sever??

What the hell is Hand Sever? I can't find it on YGO Wikia :s

Fossil Fusion (guest) - 2009/10/18 20:52

Hand Sever

Hand Destruction...
TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/11/17 21:52

Structure Deck 18

Machiner's Gearframe- Machiner's searcher, good. While equipped as a Union monster, it does absolutely little.
Machiner's Peacekeeper- This card is more suited as a Union monster than the former. When this card is destroyed, you can add 1 Union monster from your Deck to your Hand.
Scrap Recycler- Dump a Machine when Summoned- AWESOME. Draw 1 card for every 2 EARTH Machine-Type monsters you sent back from the Graveyard to your Deck. Main intention is of course Machiner's.
Machiner's Frontline- I have to say that out of all of the cards that CAN support Machiner's, this is perhaps the best one. All of the Machiners are Machine-Type EARTH so they are supported with this card. This can also be used for other machine archetypes like Cyber Dragon.
My only complaint is that Machiner's (as an archetype) is still too jumbled up to be supported properly. While they added the Union mechanic, they did absolutely little to summon their big boss Machiner's Force. I feel it would have been a better option to just dump this long dead archetype completely. There are perhaps too many Machiner's support cards.
Anyways, here are our five new cards- four monsters and a spell card. Sigh, I kinda hoped that this structure would have done as good a job as the last structure did with Dual monsters.

HalfDemonInuyasha (guest) - 2009/11/18 04:33

reply

Overall, I'm actually a bit disappointed...we get promised "Union support", yet all we get from this is Machiner's Gearframe and Machiner's Peacekeeper, the latter being the only one that really has anything to do with Unions while Gearframe is more of a Machiner's monster that just happens to be Union while we get Oilman from ABPF. And not once, but THREE times, do they copy Heavy Mech. At least Oilman has the draw effect for being "Unionized", yet we get NOTHING but the Heavy Mech protection from Gearframe and Peacekeeper. The only other Union support will probably be the old MFC support. Overall, I keep gipped from the lack of actual Union support besides Peacekeeper. Not even 1 new Union-based m/t card.

Oh, make no mistake, I'll definitely have fun testing out the new stuff;

Already gave my thoughts on Machiner's Fortress above.

Machiner's Gearframe is great for searching out Machiner's Force straight from the Deck so you don't have to rely on drawing it like you used to, or to search out Machiner's Fortress or even something as simple as Machiner's Soldier.

Machiner's Peacekeeper will be fun in my VWXYZ Deck since 3 of the 5 can be searched out by it. (W, Y, and Z.)

Scrap Recycler is only good in, of course, Machiner's as well as Antique Gear Decks mostly. Unless someone makes an EARTH Deck with plenty of Machines to use the effect.

Machiner's Fronline is ok...the "by battle" part is what kills it coupled with the "once per turn" bit. If it were "destroyed" in general, the once per turn bit would've been fine. Otherwise, it would've been killer in an Antique Gear or VWXYZ Deck.

Yuginshin (guest) - 2009/11/18 04:46

Scrap Recycler works in Gadgets. :)
Happehardcore (guest) - 2009/11/18 05:12

Well, even if one did think it as such a "bad" thing, it's not really nor is it much of a surprise when you consider the fact that we now have things like Vice Dragon and Priest of the Sun (both of which are BETTER in their own ways) and other monsters with the exact same or similar Special Summoning effects. Not to mention Cyber Dragon Zwei too which is ALSO better in various ways, lol.

well..since the english (TCG) are releasing these, will the OCG be the same?

- Blast Sphere
- Cyber Valley

Judging from the previous Structure Deck, the warrior, all are the same..
