Re: This Issue of V-Jump

Hmm.. I wonder what promo is V-Jump gonna put in this issue this time... o.0

NuCk (guest) - 2009/07/01 16:39

Damn, give them time then comment. :|

Wakko (guest) - 2009/07/01 20:34

Manga E.Heroes are too good. The Shining all the way. It'll mesh so well with my Fusion Gate E.Hero deck.

Kensei (guest) - 2009/07/01 21:47

What's the promo gonna be?

humm probably some monster card do with DUAL type monsters? Since the new 606 have some card related to the new structure...Or something UNEXPECTED?

Just my opinion...

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/01 23:16

Probably be Shatiel, Iofil, or Vac . . .I don't think they'd release Zerial, TIny Angel, or Palmar alone.
dingo (guest) - 2009/07/02 02:23

as highly unlikely as it is, i hope its A Hero Arrives, from the manga, but really as long its useful im happy :p

ryuuoumiller (guest) - 2009/07/04 09:15

Highly unlikely, but...

I want a tournament legal Osiris or Ra to go with my Obelisk T_T

=Huck the 7th= (guest) - 2009/07/04 11:31

Agreed

I 2nd the notion to bring in another Legal God card.
Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/05 09:14

Obelisk came out last year in December. If they were (And I'm hoping they are) to release Slifer/Osiris it would be around the same time.
Sion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/05 09:22

Edit:

My bad. Had information confused. It was announced around December and made for a feb. 2009 release. Again, It would be like that around the same time.
ryuuoumiller (guest) - 2009/07/07 19:16

Well just from looking at the Devil Gods' release, they released Dreadroot (Obelisk counterpart) first, then came Avatar (Ra) 11 issues later, and Eraser (Osiris) came the next issue. Idk if that's a pattern they'll follow here, or if it was just random and not a pattern at all.
Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/07 22:46

I'm not sure, but I think if you don't count Avatar's first appearance in chapter1 then that's the pattern they first appeared in the comic. But I might be wrong on that. Hmmm. . .

Cyber Eltanin- Nerfed?

Cyber Eltanin... This is the card that Ryo uses in the manga.
Its effect in the manga: It is a nomi monster and can only be Special Summoned by removing 1 Cyber Dragon on your field and all Machine-Type monsters in your Graveyard from the game. When it is Special Summoned, you can send all monsters your opponent controls to the Graveyard. It gains 500 ATK for every Machine-Type monster removed from the game.
Of course, expect this card to get nerfed. I expect that its effect will pretty much be the same as in the manga, except that they will take out (or nerf) the effect where it sends all opposing monsters to the Graveyard.

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/17 01:38

That's not it's effect on Janime . . .

According to Janime site the effect is:

"When this monster is summoned successfully, Destroy an opponent's monster for each "Cyber" monster removed from play. The ATK/DEF of this monster is equal to 500 X the number of "Cyber" monsters removed from play."

As "Cyber" applies to only the Cyber Dragon series here it can easily be re-worded to "Light, Machine-type Cyber monster". I pretty sure only Cyber Dragon series monster relate to that specific setting.

The way your effect (from Yugioh Wikia) is worded sounds almost like it combined Cyber Eltanin effect with the Born From Draconis trap card:
"By Removing all "Cyber" monster on your field and in your graveyard from play, you can special summon a Lv. 10 "Cyber" monster from your hand.

Although I guess they could combine the effects for the official card.

Re: Scion of the Flames

I based this on Yugioh wikia's summary of the card. And yes, I have seen the janime summary of both cards.

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2009/07/17 03:39

Hence my parenthesis around : (from Yugioh Wikia)

reply

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it's ENTIRELY revamped (though still Machine-oriented).

After all, it's VJMP, and it's done it before quite a few times, especially with GX Manga stuff (same with WJMP). Either that or it combines the effects of 1+ other cards that are used with it into 1 single effect. Only a few times have they stayed the same.

Wolfgang DelaSangre (guest) - 2009/08/14 23:35

OTK Much?

This + Limiter Removal.

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/08/15 00:49

Cyber Eltanin

This card is looking to be almost very well broken.
While LIGHT Machine-Type monsters is restricted compared to "Machine-Type monsters" (as well as disregarding the "Cyber Dragon" requirement), they are still VERY plentiful. The Gradius and VWXYZ archetypes, if anything.
You can almost abuse this card with Future Fusion/Overload Fusion/Chimeratech if they weren't Limited.
Its effect, which sends all other face-up monster(s) on the field to the Graveyard, is still intact contrary to what I have mentioned in my post.

petqwe (guest) - 2009/08/15 14:13

Actually I think this can be a MUD card, just somehow have a Cyber Dragon or similar stuff in the Grave. Special summon Cyber Eltanin in Defense, clear the monsters, next turn when it dies, special summon the 2nd Cyber Eltanin.

This can be something like Fossil Dyna Pachxxxxxxxxxx (still forget how to spell)
mathew (guest) - 2009/08/15 21:29

we need a rulling

it may turn out that you dont need any light machine monsters to summon this card. if that is the case monarch have just recived a new and more destructive varient of soul control.
