We get Anime Cards? Cool, hope we can get Demak's Apes and his Field Magic Closer Forest.

Akira (guest) - 2009/04/18 14:10

What can be here:
- Demak's cards
-Yusei's new traps from duel with Kiryu
-Rua's new Equips
-Bommer's Traps
-Few cards of Ludger
- Dick's Blizzard Lizard

ShinobiPhoenix - 2009/04/18 16:08

I don't see if it's likely to get any Magic or Traps.

There hasn't been a Magic or Trap card in a LE pack since LE8 (back in 2005)and we're on 15. That's 7 packs of all monsters and one of them was even a DOUBLE pack with 8 monsters because of the monsters we still want especially during GX era (because we kept getting screwed out of what we wanted for main character stuff). 5D's isn't bad about that, but this is the main way to get characters from the non-main characters. Also take in fact they are releasing a lot more in sets than years ago so LEs were a place for special character cards in DM era. LE9 being the first of the GX era ones changed that.

I don't see them changing it much now when they can put Magic/Traps in PPs like they have been.

danierulynx - 2009/04/18 17:50

Just because you can't imagine it happening, that doesn't mean it can't happen. Like you pointed out, there have been S/Ts in LE packs before, so it can happen again. Regardless, speculation at this point is pointless as it's far too early. We don't even know when the pack is out yet, after all.
Akira (guest) - 2009/04/18 17:02

Understand, just was my opinion.Spells and Traps will be released in booster packs and monsters- we need to wait.Candidaites are Demak's Apes.

danierulynx - 2009/04/18 17:48

Just because you want Demak's cards, that doesn't make them any more likely to be included in this pack than anything else. Viable candidates for this pack are anything that hasn't been printed elsewhere.
RedEyesFan - 2009/04/18 18:35

the worse possibility of the 5 cards:

special artwork of the 5 dragons.
*cough

or

Dark Synchro monsters.

ShinobiPhoenix - 2009/04/18 22:25

Not actually much left...

- Earthbound God - Ccarayhua (clearly going to be in SDOD)
- Reptiless Gorgon (potential to be in SDOD)

This is of course is COMPLETELY assuming they are referring to 5D's anime only. Not GX anime.

I still personally want my Scab-Scar Knight the most.

Gods-Knight - 2009/05/07 13:40

Not really.

There is alot left. From all of the other GX and the first Yu-Gi-Oh!. Besides most of those cards u listed would not be in something like this. But still like u said COMPLETELY assuming.
Liakai (guest) - 2009/04/19 12:01

But when is the Booster pack going to come out?

RedEyesFan - 2009/05/07 11:28

i dont think u should call this a booster pack...
it is very very misleading.
Filip™ (guest) - 2009/05/07 11:36

OMG! Guardian Eatos and Clear cards! I thought they will never release those cards. And and Orichalcos card too! WOW!

Wacko (guest) - 2009/05/07 13:17

OMG!!!! I never thought they would have made these cards, I wonder what other surprises they have up there sleeves.

Gods-Knight - 2009/05/07 13:37

SO VERY HAPPPPPY

LOL. I have been waiting for some of these cards.Guardian Eatos and Orichalcos Shunoros. I never thought that any of the Orichalcos cards would come out. Or at least that was what i was told by the webmaster of toywiz.com. In fact he said alot of cards would never be relised. BUT HE WAS WRONG. No for the rest of the Guardians and Orichalcos. Than Valons, Weevils and Rex, Rebecca, Vivvian, and the rest.

DarkSigner (guest) - 2009/05/07 14:13

Cool! I cannot believe Shunoros and Eatos are going ot be released!! This is shocking. And Clear World, Darkness Neosphere??
I hope other Limited Editions will be similar as this one, we can get all those cool unreleased GX and DM cards! Like N-Spacian support ( Miracle Contact, Neo Spacian Wave....), Cyber Angels of Asuka, cards of Hell Kaiser ,Yugi's cards, Kaiba's...All what we expected for so long and they want to redeem themselves for not releasing those cards in different YGO eras.

TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/05/07 16:36

The WTF Cards Moment

Really, they picked the most random anime-only cards out there- from way back when, from Duel Monsters and GX, although some of them need other cards to be Summoned with, others having ridiculous effects whose purpose is anime-only cuz these cards aren't made for OCG.
1): The Guardian concept from 5-6 years ago comes back? Really, like most other Guardians, Eatos needs an anime-only Equip Spell to be Summoned. And that spell is not in this set... I doubt that as a Guardian monster, Eatos won't have an OCG effect where you don't need a specific Equip Spell to summon it.
2): Really, I thought "Orichalcos" cards would be dead, but now Shunoros is coming out? What kind of effect will it have? I doubt a card from the anime will keep its ridiculous effect.
3): Another "Darkness" card- unlike Destroyer, though, this card's anime effect actually requires "Darkness," an anime-only field spell, to be in play. In the anime, it has 4000 ATK and DEF (not unusual since there are plenty of Level 10 monsters in the game already with those stats).
4): Clear Vice Dragon- ah, an anime-only card whose effect is not ridiculous. It was actually used in Tag Force 3, one of the first anime-only cards from that game to be released in OCG format.
5): Clear World is a field spell for the Clear archetype (since their effect(s) negate the player from a negative effect), which right now, is only Clear Vice Dragon in the OCG. And it's not really a good field spell for anything else.

Gods-Knight - 2009/05/08 23:17

Think about what you say

Cards that need other cards, such as Shunoros and Eatos, will be getting their cards out soon or they would not release them. If u think about it what Orichalcos monster was the strongest. In terms it summoned the actually strongest but with out Shunoros how would u get out God of Serpent. Not only that two other strong Orichalcos monsters, Arisuteros and Dekshia. Not only that compaining on Eatos is pointless its got its on family of cards so y not release her. There are people who use the Guardian cards. And its not random. I have emailed them about releasing past cards. Now did they listen probally not. But they need to get all of the cards out that have been used in the show or they need to take an stop Yu-Gi-Oh!. It is pointless to have a show connected to a game and not have the stuff used on the show in the game. So there for it might seem random to people who dont think but its not. Not only that the anime effects who cares about that it sounds like u have some issues about the anime and the cards.
ShinobiPhoenix - 2009/05/07 17:15

Well, one non-Monster card after all... totally didn't see which one though.

It is nice, of course, all of them will be different from the anime except Clear Vice Dragon and Clear World (which will just likely be the Tag Force 3 effect).

Speaking of Clear World, that totally could have been another wanted monster. Like my still very wanted Scab-Scar Knight, which is an awesome card and the Tag Force version is still very playable and non-broken.

I sure others would agree about wanting some other monster instead of Clear World.

DarkSigner (guest) - 2009/05/07 18:13

Well I don't mind even it is Guardian or Orichalcos. Those cards are really cool and I hope they won't disappoint us with effects.Eatos and Shunoros have great arts too and hope for Neosphere not be bad becuase Destroyer wasn't good.Important is that this is the miracle we see these cards released.I wish also more Judai and Yugi card support, like support for Neospacians ( Neo Spacian Wave and the most wanted Miracle Contact, Neo Spacian Signal etc.)And I would like to see Guardian Deathscythe, dark version of Eatos.More Orichalcos,Clear and Drakness monsters are welcome.
But did you hear for Miracle Contact petiton to be released? I would like this card be released so please if you find it, vote.

HalfDemonInuyasha (guest) - 2009/05/07 20:07

reply

I beg to differ; Darkness Destroyer can actually be QUITE deadly. Hardened Armed Dragon makes it quite a beast as well. Not being able to be Special Summoned is a pretty fair trade-off with it being 2300 ATK, 2 free attacks, AND trample.

Though, I DO agree that Judai needs more of his actual decent support released (as few as it is) since most of his stuff was all the super-situational, 1-E. Hero-only Equip and whatnot support. Spacia Gift was good, but as said, Neo Spacia Wave, Miracle Contact, and other stuff from the anime/manga would be nice. If anyone didn't notice, Judai was also the only manga character to have any Magic and Trap Cards from the manga released; Blumeblatt/"Rose Bud", Hero's Bond, and Earth/"Terra" Gravity. Others that could've had them tended to have them integrated into their monsters like Ice Blizzard Master has Absolute Ice Wall's destruction effect built in or, from R, Gors has itself, Kaien, and Stairway to Hades all integrated in its effect and so on and so forth.

Anyways, I see at least Guardian Eatosu, Oreichalcos Shinoras, and Darkness Neosphere being revamped quite a bit, if not completely, given all 3 of them rely on 1+ other cards in their anime effects that show no signs of being released elsewhere. Also because of how LEs tend to do such a thing like they did with E. Hero Voltic, Light/Dark-End Dragon (turned to Synchros), Genesic Dragon, E. Hero Ice Edge, Ice Queen, etc, etc.

Eatosu = Holy Sword of the Goddess - Eatosu + Guardian Deathscythe (and, in turn, Reaper Scythe - Deathscythe)

Shinoras = Kyutora, Dekshia, Aisteros, and God of Serpent

Neosphere = Darkness and probably Darkness Bramble and Rainclaw.
SynjoDeonecros - 2009/05/07 20:05

Uh...what? Just...what?! Two cards from the DOMA arc, and three cards from GX Season 4? The hell? How incredibly random is THAT?! Those arcs weren't even very good.

I wonder if this is a sneak peak at what's to come in the next set; it DID say that there would be support for past deck themes, after all, and Guardian Eatos and Darkness Neosphere definitely qualify as "support for past themes".

I'm curious as to whether the release of Orichalcos Shunoros means we'll FINALLY get The Seal of Orichalcos. If so, they'd probably have to fudge the effect, some...something like this, probably:

The Seal of Orichalcos
Field Spell
Effect: All face-up monsters gain 500 ATK and are also treated as DARK. Both players can treat their Spell and Trap Card Zones as Monster Card Zones. If they do, their opponent cannot select these monsters as an attack target if they have monsters in their Monster Card Zones. The activation and effect of this card cannot be negated by any other card.

One other thing I would like them to change is the line in Clear Vice Dragon's effect that says "This face-up card is not treated as DARK". That always confused me in Tag Force 3. It's like, "Well, can it be treated as LIGHT or EARTH or WATER, then?" Frankly, I think it would be more clear for the card to instead say "This face-up card is not treated as having any Attribute, except by another card effect". At least then we'd know that, by itself, it has no Attribute to be affected by Clear World.

Overall, I'm really stunned and curious about these cards, and can't wait to find out their effects.

Kaostheory - 2009/05/08 19:14

Clear Vice Dragon effect makes sense, it simply has no attribute since it is "clear". That means clear worlds effects dont affect any of the clear monsters so it their kind of field card.
Darkness will have to be changed since if u have 4000 lp each turn you can pay some major psychic costs like that or the samurai summoning spell needing everything but 1 lp left
Mr.Archfreak (guest) - 2009/05/07 22:26

wow

Seal of Orichalcos anyone? This set's gonna rock.

DarkSigner (guest) - 2009/05/07 22:57

Probabilty we will get Seal Of Orichalcos is very little, the card actually exists but it isn't released in public nor be played too.Well they really may revamp their effects totally just as they usually do with such promo cards.Effects might be changed a bit becuase those cards rely on some other card that still is not released (Seal,Field Magic Darkness form GX).

SynjoDeonecros - 2009/05/08 01:33

I call bull on that; I have tried several times to find a single verifiable account of the card being real, and thus far, that account simply does not exist. I've talked to several people who claim to have seen it, but they refuse to give any details on who was dueling, where they were when they saw it, etc., just that "I saw it, believe me", and I do NOT believe pure hearsay. Also, every single picture I've seen of the "real" Seal of Orichalcos have all been either obvious fake proxies or screen captures from the anime. So, as far as I know and am concerned, the Seal of Orichalcos card does NOT exist outside of the anime, and the claims that there is are just either fan delusions or UDE propaganda perpetuated to make themselves out to be better and more 1337 than Konami.
MasterSephiroth (guest) - 2009/05/07 23:35

...

erm...ok...oO...just....what the...ok...calm down...I think, this gonna be, some...strange...cards...something, everybody had just forgotten...now...ok...it has to be...just.....strange...weird in a way...

ME (guest) - 2009/05/09 03:01

synjodenecros...when the ude site was running, there was a thread on this very subject. it did exist and was played during some mall tours. the moderator of the thread, Frank Debrito, said he played one of the ude team members who played that card. i believe him to be truthful...anyway, for what its worth....
a-hole (guest) - 2009/05/08 00:44

Never thought I'd see the day for the first 2.

Can't wait to see how Eatos turns out; a lot of the DMComet gang are ecstatic over this one in particular.

Jinzoob (guest) - 2009/05/08 09:05

LOL

Hi a-hole!
Interesting cards...and random. They have no link with each other. Or might they?
tabata (guest) - 2009/05/08 10:00

man that Clear Vice Dragon is just the most awesome card of all times!!! It gonna be the dragon deck reborn, not more hopeless, this card with Totem really rocks!!! the only bad thing about it is that it gonna be limited as fast as posible...

J4B0i - 2009/05/08 11:53

Whois to say it'll have the anime effect?

arcana force 1 the magician - 2009/05/08 21:05

will these come out for tcg in america? please be yes.

Mr.Archfreak (guest) - 2009/05/08 22:55

I doubt it, they'll probably just realese them as Shonen Jump promos like they did with the other LEs.
arcana force 1 the magician - 2009/05/08 23:09

they just added 3 le cards in raging battle so why not these.

Mr.Archfreak (guest) - 2009/05/09 17:30

Honestly, i don't know. They either seem 2 be in 81-90 of the latest booster or in Shonen Jumps. If they keep doing this, we might be able to get these in a year or 2. And after i did a little math, the Orichalos cards (+Eatos) should probably fall with Shonen Jump and the others will be secret rares. But, that's just my guess
RedEyesFan - 2009/05/10 01:49

i dont think Neosphere will touch TCG.

cause 4kids never show season 4...
maybe u guys will only get the Doma arc's cards.
DarkSIgner (guest) - 2009/05/10 12:10

If 4kids won't show Season 4, it doesn't mean TCG won't get Darkness Neosphere.Look at other season 4 cards released in TCG even without showing it thee ( Neos Wiseman, God Neos).

SynjoDeonecros - 2009/05/18 19:52

Wow. Just...wow. They really fucked with the effects of these cards, didn't they? Shunoros is now a Normal Monster supporter, Darkness Neosphere returning all face-up Traps you control to your hand is pointless, Clear World's negative effects are all screwy (why 2 or more monsters for DARK's negative effect? Why face-up DEF monsters with EARTH? Why the LP payment for WIND?)...about the only cards that werent' significantly changed were Clear Vice Dragon (and even then, I don't like how they worded its Clear World-negating effect, especially if this is going to be the start of new Clear Monsters in the future) and Eatos.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with these cards. I knew they were going to be nerfed from their originals (especially since half of them required cards that aren't in existence yet), but this is just ridiculous.

J4B0i - 2009/05/18 20:09

Um

I don't remember a card ever having it's anime effect when it came to the ocg/tcg anyways so shut up and cry elsewhere.
TheDarkAngelRocket - 2009/05/18 20:31

Re: SynjoDeonecros

You are absolutely correct, SynjoDeonecros. It makes me wonder, just why bother releasing them? Once again, Konami dumps our anticipitation with these "powerful" anime cards.

Orichalcos Shunoros is a normal monster nomi, it can only be summoned when a Normal monster you control is destroyed in battle. The maximum ATK power this card will ever get by its own effect is 5000, which it will probably not be the case for the majority of the time. The destruction via card effect(s) will probably be worthless since Level 4 or lower normal monsters typically have lower ATK than the majority of monsters used in the game. If only Metamorphisis was still around, maybe, just maybe this card may have had some worth...
Guardian Eatos just may very well be the best card in this set, and I use that term very, very loosely. This monster is a "Guardian" that broke the mold; no longer do you need a specific Equip Spell to be on the field to summon this card, and maintain this card on the field. It can be Special Summoned if there are no monsters in the grave, meaning that you can very well summon it on your first turn. This card's ATK power can become 4000 for a turn by removing three monsters from the Graveyard, which would do fine had it not been for Imperial Iron Wall, and the Equip Spell destruction cost.
Darkness Neosphere is also a nomi monster which can only be Special Summoned by sending 1 Fiend-type monster in your hand AND 1 Fiend-type monster on the field to the Graveyard. This can probably work with Fires of Doomsday and/or Fiend Decks. This card cannot be destroyed via battle, and has 4000 ATK so there is some worth to consider putting this card in a Fiend deck. But I also agree, wtf is with its face-up trap return? Perhaps the only times I'll ever see the use of this would be when certain Continuous Trap Cards remain on the field after their use, such as Spellbinding Circle.
Clear Vice Dragon has the same effect as in the anime, with the exception of the rewording. Instead of the "Clear" monster being immune to the effects of Clear World, the player is instead immune to this effect. Its ATK power can increase to extraordinary levels, and by discarding 1 card, can prevent its destruction by card effects (but it will probably get destroyed in battle anyway during your opponent's turn).
And speaking of Clear World, this is one of the two worst cards in the set. While certain "negative effects" are the same as they are in the anime (namely, the FIRE, WATER, and LIGHT effects), other effect(s) are nerfed once again. EARTH limits this to face-up Defense Position monster(s), which would be fine had it not been for certain EARTH monsters that break this. DARK only prevents attacks if you control 2 or more monsters (but even then, this card is not recommended for the Earthbound Gods). WIND only allows a player to pay 500 LP to activate a Spell Card. The worst quality of this card would be its 500 LP cost; okay what are we going back to, Toon World?
AimlesslyStaring (guest) - 2009/05/19 00:14

@ DarkAngelRocket

Orichalcos Shunoros: You seem to have forgotten that Gemini monsters are consider normal monsters while they are on the field and graveyard. So in theory, destruction of a Gemini monster which hasn't been dual summon should easily get Orichalcos out.

Guardian Eatos: No one ask you to play with equips. Turn 1, you can also go Valhalla, Asomdeus, Eatos, set a Marshmelon. A RFG angel deck isn't impossible. Plus, if you don't want to summon her, there's also the option of Trade In and Advance Draw. ((However, equipping her with a DDR is probably not a good idea). Also a turn 1 2500 often force a removal rather quickly, making it safe for your other monsters. And Imperial Iron Wall is a sidedeck card at best.

Darkness Neosphere obviously works in fiend decks. Of course, you asked why do you want to return your traps. Well, let's see, you can bounce Magical Incense to play magic freely, or Bloody Swamp to stop it from dying at the end of the second turn to limit your opponent's set cards even further..... Then there's cards like Limited Rebirth and Angel's Lift. Of course, there's also stuff like Depth Amulets.....

Clear Vice Dragon seems to have a place in decks like Hopeless Dragons and it's more of a game winning condition and Trade In options rather than a big beat stick through out. This guy is far from useless and the evasion ability is rather nice since it pretty much negates destruction when this guy goes in swinging. Dropping this card when you aren't in control is asking to be kill.
jammasta (guest) - 2009/05/19 23:40

Eatos might be pretty cool in a Dimensional Fissure/Macro Cosmos deck. Of course you wouldn't use the second effect, but its Special Summon effect could work.

Man.......i think that konami killed Clear Vice Dragon.....the best thing about this monster is that it's basically indestructible as far as you have cards in your hand.....well at leas you can special summon it from your deck via masked dragon and mystic tomato and recicle it with recurring nightmare and dark eruption........

Your wrong!

You can't spécial summon it with masked dragon and mystic tomato because of his ?ATK!

Same thing with Dark Eruption! ?ATK aren't determinated so you can't use such effect's, you can't even get it to your hand with Sangan!
