They've already released cross road set of 5d's this is the 3rd set after cross road, we are just a set behind...since august will be the release of duelist gen, then nov. is cross roads...there arn't actually going ahead...there exactly on time on these

Dark Dragonphoenix - Why are you complaining about a new set being announced? Why does someone ALWAYS do this when a new set is announced? A new set is a GOOD thing, =/

And as has already been stated, this set was announced a few days AFTER the release of Crossroads of Chaos.

Also, the 5D's sets are being released at exactly the same rate as the GX sets were. In fact, this set is a month LATER than usual (the gap is normally three months, but this time it's four), as there's so much being released between now and then (Tag Force 3, the Extra Pack, the Yusei Duelist Pack, etc...).

Old Cards need a vamp

I reckon its time to boost the strength of already existing decks like Cloudians which are extremely under-rated and a come back with the Ancient Gears. These decks really need a vamp. Also its about time they release anime cards into the OCG, cards like Swing of Memories and Fine which were anime cards have been a huge sucess so Konami better release some anime cards.

They HAVE been releasing anime cards. Remember - this is the 5D's era we live in, and so the anime cards are all from 5D's. What you're saying is that you want GX anime cards, which sadly isn't going to happen, as 5D's =/= GX.

red dragon archfiend buster seems to be a normal monster type that can have the ability to special summon the synchro red dragon archfiend from your extra deck. faster then using a tuner and such.. thats my guess

then theres the possibility of seing Luca's cards. both Kuribon & Ancient Fairy Dragon ( 4th dragon). im sure that theyll make more of her cards aswell

Well, Ruka (Luca) is the little girl with the green hair as you said. She is a Signer just like Yusei, Aki and Jack. Her ace card is Ancient Fairy Dragon. I hope this will help. BTW thank a lot for the greets x)

yes!! just like i said. i'm putting big money on Rua. why, cause he can "talk" Ruka out of the duel spirit world. his just like syo in GX, bad at duel in beginning but got alot of potential. both of them has a sibling that is good a dueling and their decks are machines.

Buster Mode ▬ Stardust and Red Daemons

I guess to summon stardust dragon buster and red Daemon's buster i think you have to have the synchro version of them on the field activate buster mode trap then tribute either one and summon stardust dragon buster or red daemons buster from hand or deck.

so glad they are making new alien card, aliens are really fun deck types. i really do wish we get new cloudians and venom, but....

and the new buster mode thing just reminds me of Digimon season 4. is there a link between all this?

Aliens,machines,dragons...My favourite types.Aliens will now be ready to conquer the Earth! Reactors are awesome:machines,searchable with mystic tomato and sangan,targets for crush card,deal damage and destroy cards(good with bait doll and dark room of nightmare).Black bomber synchro summons dark dive bomber quickly and he deals enormous damage with demon roar god raven from limited edition 13.Red deamon buster should be awesome stuff to add my dark/red daemon deck

i think it would be interesting if they made hybrid cards. for example, a card that when you draw or perhaps activate it, you have to then chose to declare it as a spell card to get one effect, or declare it a trap to get another.

they could do the same with normal and effect monster cards.

Card Sets Supporting Structure Decks?

I've just realized one thing; the card sets have cards that support not only the cards IN the set, but cards in the structure decks as well.
In Crossroads of Chaos, they had Zombie/Undead monsters to support Undead World/Zombie World deck.
Now in Crimson Crisis, they have Spellcasters to support Lord of the Magicians.
Is this going to be a new trend or something? I shouldn't say new, but is this going to be ongoing?

Um, Crossroads already passed in like June-July with the regular Black Rose Dragon. I think you mean to say "Crimson Crisis."
I would agree that they would release the "Buster" forms of the Five Dragons.

Black Rose Dragon's Buster form, if any, has yet to be revealed. Aki's cards in this particular set except for Night-Rose Knight are still unknown (they'll probably be the cards she used in the Fortune Cup like Rose Tentacles and Phoenixian Cluster Armallyis). There's a fair chance it might be released, but according to the next three episodes, I don't see Aki dueling anytime soon or do anything in this season just yet.
On the other hand, the REGULAR Ancient Fairy hasn't been released yet, and I assume it won't be released until at least Raging Battle. Ruka [and Rua] are temporarily replaced by the newer characters this season.

Cool, now have some new tuners ,alien,plant and deformer support.New level 4 tuner trap eater is situational and dark repairer has different effect than in anime.Is it better or worse and can someone tell me how to uses their effects properly.Great for ivy shucle but it is a trap now and deformers have their field spell.Best set ever!

Little bit of both

Trap Eater doesn't have it's S/T destruction effect, but it makes up for this by being a Level 4 Tuner with 1900 ATK and by giving a giant middle finger to Royal Oppression.

As for Dark Repairer, it's effect has been somewhat suckified, but it's now a Level 2 Tuner monster instead of a Level 3, so this could prove useful. It's also a DARK monster with 1000 ATK, so it's Crush Card Virus fodder and it doesn't miss the timing.

Wolfgang - You're not wrong re: Dark Repairer, although to clarify, it's not that it doesn't miss the timing, it's that it can't, lol.

I actually quite like Dark Repairer's new effect. True, its anime one was probably better, but I think we have enough draw power these days as it is, =/

Besides, it resembles Crystal Seer's effect somewhat, which is a plus in my books, :3

hey,did anyone saw that 5Ds special episode on youtube-I saw it today and it is awesome.Jack and Yusei play buster mode on their dragons.Traps Half or stop and Nightmare archfiends are actually jack*s .Yusei used Debris Dragon to special summon Shield Wing and with quillbolt hedgehog summon stardust.Any Debris Dragon uses? I know it sucks a bit because of it*s limitations but please someone tell me how it can be good or fun to use in a deck.

That episode was awesome! Red Demons Dragon/Buster is the best! I have been trying to make Jack's deck for a long time. This booster will definitely help my deck.

I like making jack/yusei theme decks too. With this set their decks are even more playable.Even debris dragon used by yusei ,that is said not being good( it isn*t true) has great uses with tuning supporter,bolt hedgehog,shield wing in yusei deck.Turett and hyper synch. are very good and why not use them,darek repairer too?
