So Kaito's ace has a third evolution... as a Number??? O-O

Anonymous (guest) - 2013/10/16 05:02

It is the second evolution, not the third. The only evolution that Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon has is his main one, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. The base forms do not count as evolutions, as that is what the monster always is. If this is a new evolution, it may be the final and strongest form, if Zexal will end soon. I do not like the fact that it is a Number card though, seeing how Galaxy-Eyes is supposed to counter against the Numbers. It seems like they are making Numbers at random now by making every new powerful Xyz monster into a Number. If you have seen the sixth opening for Zexal, you can see by the silhouette of this monster that it resembles a mix between Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and Shooting Quasar Dragon. Which is kind of strange that a main rival card would look like a card belonging to one of the main heroes/leaders. Even more strange if it just happens to be the final and ultimate evolution.
Z-ONE (guest) - 2013/10/16 05:53

Placing bets!

1. Light Blue 2. Red, maybe with a tint of pink So #3. Purple!
Mizael (guest) - 2013/10/16 15:16

Anonymous is right, it disappoints me that Kaito would get a Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon evolution but happens to be a number card, I hope that No. 62 would still have Galaxy-Eyes Photon's banishing eff though.

I think it'll be bad if they end Zexal early, the anime is kinda lacking more story. I'm hoping that they'll introduce Shining Xyz Evolution for the next arc (though I know it's on manga only), but it'll be pretty cool to know/to have Chaos and Shining Xyz in the anime and they'll make story/explain why there are Chaos Numbers and Shining Numbers.
Vince (guest) - 2013/10/16 05:27

Well...

This doesn't necessarily have to belong to Kaito, it might belong to Yuma or Astral who has awakened the power of Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon (awesome name). It might even belong to Don Thousand as one of the 'Fake Numbers'.

Anonymous (guest) - 2013/10/16 06:22

Since both dragons met once before the storyline starts and are from different worlds that used to be one, as well as this monster having 'prime' in the name, which means first or beginning, the dragons might also have been one being. This card would make sense for it to be Kaito's origin card seeing as how Yuma has Hope Roots as his origin card. Speaking of Hope Roots, there were hints on episode 121, that Hope Roots was the guardian of the Numeron Code. Seeing as how Astral and Don Thousand each left Rank-Up and Chaos with the Numeron Code, I think it had to take on a new form to hide itself from both sides until the time was right for it to emerge once more. Yuma can use both powers on his own, something that none of the other human characters can do. Hint hint.
Anonymous (guest) - 2013/10/16 06:55

I forgot to mention that both the Rank-Up and Rank-Down cards that Yuma created, Numeron Force and Numeron Fall, are obvious references to the Numeron Code. Now why would Yuma, even with being partnered up with Astral, would both cards be Numeron style and not Astral style. I wonder whatever happened to the Creation God known as the Numeron Code, with which none of the events storyline wise of the other series, would never have occurred, and the other main heroes/leaders would not even exist. People should start trying to not insult Yuma and Hope just because of Yuma's hair and Hope being a Starter Deck card. People seem to forget that Black Magician was also a Starter Deck card, yet none makes fun of it or Elemental Hero Neos (who is in fact the easiest to get due to being common) and Stardust Dragon. They also get upset over Hope having evolutions. People, it is called a main hero/leader ace monster remember.

...

My guess cards like "Material Dragon", etc. will get its reprint in here. I think some of kaito's "Photon" cards like "Photon Delta Wing" "Photon Chargeman", etc. There might be "Material" archtype in here.

... (guest) - 2013/10/16 19:52

...

since there's probably no aliens or anything to further the reptile archtype (or anything else that needs help, which is alot) in this pack, i could really give a fuck less about what's in here

Was Finder (guest) - 2013/10/16 20:57

RE: ... (guest)

I was only guessing whats going to be in this pack. I also have a feeling Kaito will have a new ability. and some of his leftover cards will be in here. I dont no the reason y they stopped "alien" cards or similar. I'm hoping for more "Neos" cards.
Oh no (guest) - 2013/10/17 19:01

I didn't mean you, I just mean the pack in general. It seems that Konami isn't interested in making other things better, just making already good things broken for no reason
Was Finder (guest) - 2013/10/18 03:31

RE: ... (guest)

I no. I'm guessing Konami want trying to ban certain cards by making old cards better. I'm not sure. I no 1 thing the Yugioh game is going to change a lot in future. they might come out with a new "Special Summon" Method. XYZ summon is the latest so far. They might also come out with "XYZ-tuners", "XYZ-Synchro", etc. I really wish I new Konami's real purpose of making.... (dont no how to word).
Z-ONE (guest) - 2013/10/17 04:23

A bad feeling...

I'm betting that CNo 107 Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon will be in this pack. PS: Dr. Faker and Tron, WHERE ARE YOU?!

Was Finder (guest) - 2013/10/18 03:35

Z-ONE (guest)

"CNo 107 Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" will be in this pack. I dont no what effects they will give it.
Touma (guest) - 2013/11/04 16:40

OP-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, of course only in the anime, but what if Konami decides to release C107 with this effect without the "cannot be destroyed by battle"? OP loop right?

3 Level 9 monsters
Cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. You can Tribute 2 other monsters that have not attacked this turn; this card can attack 3 times during each Battle Phase this turn. If this card is Xyz Summoned by Ranking Up "Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon", it gains this effect.
● You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effects of all other cards currently on the field, until the End Phase, also return all other cards that were used during this turn to the same location (hand, field, Graveyard, or Deck) and position they were in at the start of this turn (cards that were already banished at the start of the turn are now banished). You choose which of the cards affected by this effect can be used during this turn.
Was Finder (guest) - 2013/11/05 17:56

My guess on "C107..." effect when it comes out in OCT/TCG.

"Photon Chargeman" and "Palladin of photon Dragon" is on "Legacy of the Valiant" pack. "Touma (guest)" already put "CNo 107 Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon"'s Anime effect; if this was 2 come out in OCG/TCG they might keep/adjust its 1st eff; they might change the 2nd effect so it doesn't go to banlist, and its last eff they might take it out fully.
Z-ONE (guest) - 2013/11/06 19:47

My theory?

1st effect: keep, maybe with adjustments. 2nd effect: It has to relate to the effect of its base form, probably similar to CNo 106 Giant Red Hand but stronger with changes that needs critical thinking.
Touma (guest) - 2013/11/14 05:35

Once during your turn, you can tribute 2 other monsters on the field to let this card attack 3 times during this turn's Battle Phase. If this card has "No. 107 Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon" as an Xyz material it gains this effects: ● Once per duel, you can detach 1 Xyz material from this card, negate all other face-up cards on the field. ● During either player's turn, you can detach all Xyz materials from this card, negate any card that targets or destroys this card until the End Phase of this turn.

Who wants this effect for CNo. 107??? :D

or maybe......

so which one?
Rayjayjay (guest) - 2013/11/16 15:10

Gladiator, Madolche, Dark world, Haze beast and Gusto!?
I hope this means more support for the old archetypes.

survivior of duel terminal (guest) - 2013/11/16 18:15

new support for old

From seeing that gusto and darkworld are getting a boost. Is it possible that lswarm and gishki get some as well?
Hmm (guest) - 2013/11/17 02:28

@ survivor, just to expand on your thought, I also hope they add more to the gem-knight archtype, I'm just speaking hypothetically though
That guy (guest) - 2013/11/22 11:26

@survivior of duel terminal :

lswarms do not need any more help.
Anonymous (guest) - 2013/12/03 10:33

@That Guy

Steelswarm being unable to use their multi-tribute monsters says otherwise.
that guy (guest) - 2013/12/14 05:12

Sorry, let me be more specific:

Steelswarms could definitely use more support. It's evilswarms that don't.
Krad (guest) - 2014/01/21 03:45

Now they do

They need support now that ophion is limited.
Imadjinn (guest) - 2013/11/17 01:39

Hah!

Dat Terminator 2 reference.

Ooh (guest) - 2013/11/17 02:27

I hope the new Hazy Flame support brings out monsters from the deck faster or has a double summon effect or even an effect similar to Hazy Pillar. They really need something to make them faster. I love playing them irl, but they're missing that extra umph

aera14 - 2013/11/17 04:16

clint (guest) - 2013/11/17 04:40

These Buffs

This lvl 4 fairy madolche... These Revamps are definately giving some buffs next pack.

aera14 - 2013/11/17 05:54

hopeful with the new support the old archetypes are getting they'll stand a chance against E Dragons

Cunning Stunt (guest) - 2013/11/17 08:32

FINALLY!!!

Supporting the Older Archtypes in a dedicated theme:D:D:D:DD:

yami (guest) - 2013/11/17 22:55

uhnm?? gooh support but

i dont think they are old archtypes ..
the really old archtypes are toon moster and other yugioh duel moster archtypes and they really need support .

Anonymous (guest) - 2013/11/19 14:26

Don't bother with explaining. They will never listen to people like us who know better. You are right about these not being old archetypes except for Dark World and Gladial-Beast. All archetypes from Yu-Gi-Oh DM and Yu-Gi-Oh GX are old. The ones here from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's are somewhat recent. The ones from Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal are new. But once again don't try or else they will hassle you for being more intelligent than them.
Anon (guest) - 2013/11/19 19:46

Umm

I'd consider the cards revealed in this pack to be from an assortment of "weaker" archetypes, not necessarily older. And if we're only getting 1 card per archetype, that's not going to do too much for toons, which are going to need a couple of uber cards to get functional. But eh, we don't even know the effects or the full content of the pack, so you never know what this pack will contain.
Gladiator Beast Emperor Romulus (guest) - 2013/11/19 05:54

I'd bet my favorite hat we'll be seeing a new Gladiator Beast fusion monster to accompany this sexy new mutant black Bestiari.

Drewko (guest) - 2013/11/19 19:04

Hmm...

This is me or CNo.107 looks like King Ghidora from Godzilla movies?

Anonymous (guest) - 2013/11/19 22:37

No it is not just you. I think it's awesome that Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon looks like King Ghidorah. If you take away the wings from Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon and the heads on the wings, then he looks like Godzilla just as Pyrorex looks like Burning Godzilla. I think that if they make another series they should give the main hero of that series an archetype based off of all different Kaiju franchises Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman etc. I also think that if they make a female leader for once sooner or later (yes I know Yu-Gi-Oh means Game King, but in the GX and 5D's manga, Asuka and Aki are the Duel Queens so it is possible for one of the leaders to be female since the title Duel Queen does exist) that character should have a Magical Girl styled deck, mainly based on the PreCure franchise.
Moac (guest) - 2013/11/20 18:13

Where is the Fabled Love?

I would love some new Fabled support :/

Come on Konami, give us at least something good, you removed our Card destruction, brionac, trishula, pot of avarice.

If Dark world can get more support, give us fabled players some love... Please

Hachiro (guest) - 2013/11/21 00:26

Agreed

I am a Fabled player myself and it hurts me not being able to keep up due to lack of support :(
Joey (guest) - 2013/11/22 11:30

I can't wait to see what the hazy flame and Koa'ki meiru support does(I bet most people here don't even remember them lol). I also want to see what other decks are gonna get more support, as there are a lot of them that could use it(as well as many that don't).

Roli (guest) - 2013/11/22 12:32

Finally Konami does what the game needs--> Support for older archtypes. Since Mermails came out the game has been unbalanced like never before.
Anonymous (guest) - 2013/12/03 10:31

That Core better solve all of the decks problems.

Or most of them. I doubt it'll have an Avarice like effect.
swordsman (guest) - 2013/12/05 13:30

crystal beast type support please konami

add 1 lv 4 beast type monster from your deck to hand, when you normal summon the added card, destroy it at the end of the battle phase.
Joey (guest) - 2013/12/15 03:08

@swordsman:

They would need to make it a bit more specific than that. Whether it's allowed at 1 or 2, I don't want to see a card that can search for rescue rabbit.
KarakuriSoldierMdl216 - 2013/12/12 22:40

That Bujin Support...

So, i see Bujins winning 2014's worlds...

raggy (guest) - 2013/12/17 09:10

not without a challenge!

cyber dragons might get more support. look at the bujins closer, they all are in the shape of the GX protaginists. now "artifact" deck archetype revealed to work similar to crystal beast??? all of them resemble GX. . . last year we had e drags and books. DM series represented by yugi and kaibas decks. theres a pattern.
rickinj (guest) - 2013/12/21 03:09

On Artifacts

The Artifact type reminds me more of Dark World than anything else - both decks aim to capitalizes on plays that your opponent would have thought would be profitable. The only difference is that there is a lot more Spell/Trap destruction effects than discard effects that are regularly played. Plus Artifacts already have a two tutor cards that act as deterrents to spell/trap destruction themselves, with one also having an MST effect. Really looking forward to seeing what else they get.
KarakuriSoldierMdl216 - 2014/02/10 23:52

@Raggy

So what if the Bujins are in the shape of the GX characters? They are based off of Japanese mythology, and yeah, cyber dragons got their suppurt in the form of a structure deck. And the artifacts dont work like the crystal beasts, the beasts went straight from the monster zones to the spell/trap zones without hitting grave, the artifacts hit the grave, so cosmos and banisher will wreck them. And what deck provides a challenge to Bujin? The only thing that comes to mind is maybe Geargia-Karakuri, Prophecy, maybe another Bujin deck. But what are you gonna do against a turn 1 Yamato, kaiser, possible emptiness flipped on your turn and a turtle in grave and a crane/honest in hand? The new support is just gonna make them dumber
DNastyKuriboh (guest) - 2013/12/17 22:22

ummm TRASH

So Far. this set is trash.

a (guest) - 2013/12/20 02:03

trash?

You probably play meta trash and can't appreciate what this set (so far) provides. Oh, get stomped on by artifacts, mmk?
raggy (guest) - 2013/12/23 08:08

srysly!? this set is OG already. look at those artifacts!!! the next tier one right there they have yet more artifact monsters to reveal
Joey (guest) - 2013/12/18 07:33

I really like how diamond core and hydra turned out(koa'ki meiru's especially needed this). It's been a long time since anything yu-gi-oh related appealed to me this much.

ZONE (guest) - 2013/12/19 07:40

Rank Up Magic - The Seventh One?

peter (guest) - 2013/12/28 16:04

Artefacts

This archetype is good but there are quite a few weaknesses this comment is intended for those new to the game the strengths are because they are fairy type they gain use of Valhalla, shining angel and since it is light it gets honest as well, it can be used as a fake out to protect your other set spell and traps for example if you had two set artefacts and a d prison trap the opponent uses MST they are more likely to destroy the artefact and trigger it's effect, they benefit from transturn, cost down and other level reduce cards to prevent dead draws and lastly they can easily bring out rank 5 xyz monsters. The weaknesses are macros decks, dead draws if the deck used is pure archetype, weak to gravekeeper decks and cards that impact on light attribute decks such as light imprisoning mirror and regardless of whether being released in tcg or ocg people will be ready for this archetype people will reduce the number of MST or destruction cards in favour of cards such as trap stun for negation to prevent their effects from being offset or have cards such as ceremonial bell, the eye of truth and mind on air to see what cards are in the hand as all archetypes have a similar way of being played and stop your plays.
Yano88 (guest) - 2013/12/30 02:23

I doubt the Seventh One will ever be released with the same effect that has in the anime. It will be nerfed pretty badly. (if it will ever be released at all.)

Even if it is strict to Number 10X it could very well be a great OTK material. Summon Number C107, equip him with Megamorph and Big Bang Shot (if the opponent played in defense) and atk for game.

A Number C10X right off the bat with just one card is too much to handle.
Miguel (guest) - 2014/02/03 14:15

Konami is whispering "use rank-up decks...."
Miguel (guest) - 2014/02/06 15:14

I have tested the Seventh One in YGO pro and i can say that is not that good... you will have to put many copies in your deck or else it will be a dead draw in first hand... otherwise, you will have to include many cards to return it to the top of your deck, but who cares? is a "once per duel" card... just put it in your deck and good luck...
yami (guest) - 2014/02/06 04:03

help

someone could help me to make a deck using the primal origin cards???
i and thinking in do a light deck because main monster are light .
is for the event next week .
i need put 20 cards of this booster pack in my main deck . extra deck cards dont count.
someone to give me a idea??

yugoloco (guest) - 2014/02/15 15:42

This booster is trash. More galaxy cards and bujin support, I dont like it. The best cards are the godsend madolche angelly and the xyz reborn for the evols. I was excited and expecting more koaki meiru cards, I guess not.

Eh (guest) - 2014/02/16 22:14

It's not trash, but I was also hoping those older archtypes would get more than one card. Hazy Flames need something more than Hydra. Other than that though, I love this pack, it makes me realize just how shitty LVAL and SHSP really are
... (guest) - 2014/02/16 22:12

Aw man those OCG exclusives are awesome. I wonder if our TCG exclusives will be good? I guess I can answer that myself......No!
