Uh...what?

Okay, maybe it's just me, or maybe it's because I dunno the rules for deck building in the Japanese Nationals, but why in the hell do they ALL have Synchros and Fusions that they can't summon clogging up their Extra Deck? They don't even have something like Fusion Guard to utilize the Fusion monsters, or Instant Tuning to make any of their monsters a Tuner for the Synchros. It's like they're required to have a full compliment of cards in their Extra Deck before they're able to play in the Nationals.

Pizza (anonymous) - 2008/06/22 01:28

Fighting GBs + Brain Control + Dark Panther answer your question?
There is a chance that you can tag into Bestiari/Herk in this case.

You can also take control of an opponents Tuner too.

As for the other vanilla Fusions in one of the decks, it works as a bluff, and it is also hardcore to have older Fusions in your Extra Deck.
whatever (anonymous) - 2008/06/22 06:59

It is not like it matters. You aren't punished by filling your extra deck so you might as well fill it. It is like in America you might as well run 3 Heraklinos over 1. Chances are you won't play all 3 but it doesn't hurt to have so you might as well make use of the rule.
Mageus (anonymous) - 2008/06/22 18:57

They did have tuners in there decks, why do you think X - Saber Airbellun was in at least the top 3 decks, it was not just for it's effect but for the fact that it's a tuner monster.
sonic_slicer (anonymous) - 2008/06/25 10:42

wait a minuet

um...isn't dimension fussion banned?

cybergx - 2008/06/25 17:34

Not in Japan it isn't. Only banned from TCG.
risu HAI (anonymous) - 2008/06/26 14:47

because of that I'm wondering why there aren't any DDT/Kuraz at least in TOP80. The World doesn't count.
kento (anonymous) - 2008/09/21 15:35

phacycephalo gadget

sonic_slicer (anonymous) - 2008/06/28 13:07

wow

pachycephalo gadget deck has 21 trap cards...the meta must be different over there

blitzer (anonymous) - 2008/07/10 04:30

Makes sense, considering the fact that they have Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.
RedEyesFan - 2008/06/29 14:08

one thing for sure,

i dont even know how to use/understand decks that has more M/Ts than monster...

i really admire their oringinality and creativity,
but they still not get 1st in theWorld Championship...
