Konami, what the bloody hell are you doing to us?
The fact that Konami's been making then abandoning new deck themes (like the Aliens, Gladial Beasts, or Crystal Beasts) for the past 5 sets or so is irritating enough, but this just takes the cake; you CANNOT justify making yet ANOTHER disposable self-contained deck theme by making an entirely new monster TYPE for it. Between this and the hodgepodge nonsense of the Tuners, the game is so dead.
Yes they need to stop with introducing new theme, sub-type, and type when there is stuff in the game that really need improve like certain fish, sea-serpent, insect, dinosaurs, reptiles, shoot even dragon because they have no underlining theme that define them. We dont need to introduces more problems in the game plz koonami stop with the bulls***. -.-
While I can agree with him on not wanting more overpowered Spellcasters, his reasoning is flawed; first, right now, the Psychics are a self-contained deck with no way to customize it into a hybrid (someone insists they work well as an alternate Fire Princess Burn, but considering that only Magical Android does any life gain, and all the rest need a LIFE POINT PAYMENT to get their effects off (and quite hefty ones too), I don't see how that could work out), so while they CAN get somewhat ridiculous with the good Spellcaster support out there, the fact that their effects are so self-contained and reliant on other Psychics to pull off, that would prevent them from becoming too powerful.
Second, he seems to think that, now that psychic phenomena is being looked at from a pseudo-scientific standpoint, that means it can't be magical. WRONG! Mentalism wouldn't be a type of stage magic if he was correct, and we wouldn't have people trying to see into the future by looking into crystal balls or flipping through Tarot cards or speaking with oracles. Also, go through the Fantasy section of your local book store, and try to find a book that deals heavily in magic that DOESN'T involve mind-controlling someone, or reading their thoughts, or moving objects without touching them. This is stuff you read about in Harry Potter, for Ra's sake, so saying that just because it's being treated as a pseudoscience NOW instead of being magical or divine (or satanic) in origin does NOT mean that psychic powers cannot be attributed to Spellcasters.
