Not yet.

Still not dead. :/

Aimlessly Starring (guest) - 2011/10/04 01:07

Well, the ban list only slow down the burst potential of the decks, it didn't really kill them
Funkdat (guest) - 2011/10/04 01:20

Its dead to me

Its dead in the TCG. Not a single top 32 showing at the last YCS. Six Sams weren't even that amazing in the TCG before the banlist hit them. Now they are meh at best. Too many better decks to choose from this format.
or maybe (guest) - 2011/10/04 02:41

or not enough people use sams cuz everyone hopped on the agent band wagon

zombiesftw (guest) - 2011/10/04 04:41

its true

ur right everyone is playing agents
Shiki (guest) - 2011/10/04 12:56

At least Agents is less auto-pilot than Sams.
Belgian Blue - 2011/10/04 17:58

Lol @ the guy who said agents is less auto-pilot than sams :p you must not have played either deck very long :p
anonymous (guest) - 2011/10/04 15:25

Angels

Angels are as auto pilot as 6 sam, in fact worst imo, earth-->venus-->3 balls-->synchro or exceed from there. Same shlt, diff day. Angels = Self touch, mindless deck. Can't wait for the banlist to hit it hard.

Belgian Blue - 2011/10/04 18:02

Tell me any top deck in the last couple of formats that wasn't auto-pilot ? Plants variants, GB, LS, twilight, sams, TG, you name it, almost any deck that ever reached any form of popularity did so riding a handful of key plays and combo's. I think any player calling another deck one that takes no skill, is a player without skill lashing out at a deck he has a hard time beating. Skill comes from the player, not the deck. It starts with deckbuilding and tech choices and boils down to making the less obvious plays when they pay off most. I've yet to come across a deck I couldn't pilot within 5 minutes of playing it. Or even seeing the decklist. Skill comes as you get to know the deck and the not so common plays that give you an edge. In that regard, agents and sams can be every bit as skillful as any other deck (I can think of a million ways to prove that for sams, and not so much for agents, true enough, but that may be because I have played agents less because its just boring to play).
Dark Highlander (guest) - 2011/10/05 08:05

dark world: mill grapha, summon it and fuck the hell of with dragged down and mind crush.
agent angel: earth, venus, gachi gachi, hyperion and krystia, more than this, only herald and honest
dragunity: dux, phalanxy, synchro, synchro and all again
six samurai: kageki, kagemusha, kageki, kagemusha and locks
rabbit: evolkaiser, evolkaiser and sometimes synchro summon with reborn
gravekeeper: set the hell off
t.g. skill drain: set the hell off
today the players don't use creativity, win is the rule. it's bad but it's true
