Really?

A Ritual Deck topping. Who'd seen that coming.

Crimson Samurai (guest) - 2011/09/18 15:51

I saw that Coming

It's not the first time for me seeing a Gishki deck winning first place
Guardian Eatos (guest) - 2011/09/18 22:55

i wish they would do it more often
i'm okay with like top 3 decks of the format but i wish it was the decks that have cool artworks
and not wierd things like agents
i wish this deck was a top deck
hello (guest) - 2011/09/19 10:15

font color

lol, how come ritual monsters are the only cards that don't have their own color. effect is light brown, synchro is white, xyz is greyish-black, trap is purple, and spell is green

ADVOKAT (guest) - 2011/09/19 10:26

blue

Actually they have, it is blue
DSS (guest) - 2011/09/19 10:36

Yeah, but....

He's talking about it being a different color on the decklist.
Well technically it makes sense since they are all effect monsters. Even if they were non-effect Ritual Monsters, they'd probably still be the same color since they're all in the main deck.
It's sort of an OCD-ish tendancy. All main deck monsters are one color, all spells another, all traps another, etc.

I wonder

How this deck works. Any insight? I think with birdman, airorca and vision ritua there could be at least 1 leviair in extra.

Tetractysgrammaton (guest) - 2011/09/20 04:52

This deck work in a lot of way...

I tried something like this before, and what it do is something like...

Summon Abyss, to grab Ritua Shadow (to add the Mirror) or Vision Ritua (to add the Ritual Monster) to match your hand with anything you would like to do..

for example:
1. Ritual Summon Gustkrake by using the other Gustkrake as tribute, and peek and return opponent Hand
2. Use the Ritua Water Mirror Return Gustkrake to hand and the Mirror to deck
3. Use Salvage to get the pair of Vision and Shadow (get 2 Shadow is better)
4. Use Shadow to add the Ritual Spell again, and ritual summon Another Gustkrake using Vision as tribute to rape opponent hand again
5. Summon Deepsea Diva to Synchro 2 Level 8 Synchro for massive control over the game

Birdman is used to recycle Ritua Abyss, Erial, Ritua Beast, or perhaps returning Gustkrake to re-use it's effect later, and can be combined with Erial to summon Arcanite

Ritua Beast can be used as instant Exceed, or re-use the Abyss. A good way on using it in combination with Birdman

The Deck is highly versatile, consistent (with a hell of a searcher), and can make a lot of play. Although the Bad hand ratio can be kinda screw'd up
Kavin (guest) - 2011/09/20 04:57

It's simple

Well a basic combo would be Deep Sea Diva search for Ghiski Abyss, search for a Ghiski Shadow or Vision (They grab a ritual spell or monster, if the ritual monster is water you can just tribute them). Get into Gustkrake (Look at 2 cards in your opponent's hands then put 1 back to the deck.)there you have the option of tuning into 4 or 8 or exceed into Gachi Gachi. The deck is fairly fast, you can renew both the spell and the rituals so It can support itself fairly well. Bird man is there to renew the effects of Abyss beast or Erial . They also have their own version of Pot of Avarice. Overall this deck is a top contender for tier 1 in my opinion.
Tetractysgrammaton (guest) - 2011/09/20 10:14

Deep sea Diva can't search Gishky Abyss, since it isn't a Sea Serpent.
