東北地方太平洋沖地震/Tohoku Region Offshore Earthquake

March 14th Konami stopped postponed all official tournaments in response to the Earthquake that hit Japan on March 11th. These were not resumed until April 16th. Due to this as well as other problems that resulted from the Earthquake, the usual Eastern/Western Candidate Qualifiers were cancelled and a single National tournament was created in its place. Usually the two events are suppose to be 75 and 75 for a total of 150 candidates for national representation, this year one tournament of 60 (I suppose two did not show) was held.

So I do not know why this is called Japanese Nationals East, as this tournament was for all of Japan.

1st place was from Hokkaido
2nd from Saitama (Represent! :D)
3rd from Gunma
4th from Osaka
