same old... same old... it seems japanese people sucks at creativity...

??? (guest) - 2013/04/14 06:07

lol they invent so many things even the game called yugioh
That guy (guest) - 2013/04/14 09:44

Well yeah, they're really creative at inventing games, but not when it comes to how they play them.
XX-Hazard (guest) - 2013/04/14 21:23

Go back in time, check their old decklists. Say that again.
That guy (guest) - 2013/04/15 07:20

Old decklists? People lacked creativity back then too. The only things that are different are that a lot of the older decks have been hit by banlists(because of how uncreative people are), and because they keep making new OP decks that discourage creativity. So I'll say it again: people aren't very inventive when playing this game.
KyuRenjo (guest) - 2013/04/16 07:12

It is TCG players that lack creativity. OCG players use TONS of tech and love to use strange build.

Even in this decklist, there will be no TCG deck that exactly same like this one. Only 1 Stream, no Gorz, no Dark Hole, no Typhoon, a Book of Moon, and only Breakthrough Skill as a Trap? THIS is how OCG players' decks, unique and strange as hell.
Qwerty (guest) - 2013/04/17 02:13

@ KyuRenjo...

Book of Moon as well as Breakthrough Skill is required, it's not strange or unique. Currently the best deck to counter E-Dragons is Rabbit Verz. Now, how would you run over Ophion when you can't summon anything? Easy. Book of Moon, face-down Ophion effect doesn't apply and you can potentially lure out the Epidemic forcing Ophion to detach again or else risk Breakthrough Skill to negate the following turn. The only way E-Dragons counter Evilswarms is by using Book of Moon and Breakthrough Skill. Thus, not very "strange" and "unique". Gorz clogs this deck and OCG is always about consistency. Having a Gorz in hand when it could be another E-Dragon or Super Rejuvenate changes the game. This can also be said about Dark Hole. Typhoon is obviously sided, but do note; backrow does not hinder E-Dragons at all, they may slow them down, but E-Dragons can come back fairly easily, and also note, most OCG meta decks don't run much backrow or they are Chainable. Why run MST?
Nathan (guest) - 2013/04/17 19:07

Not true, they have Blaster's effect that lets them destroy Ophion without Lance or Pandemic a chance to stop it. Soul Drain can't stop it because it activates in the hand.

Also, there are a couple of other counters to them that people do seem to forget about. Maxx "C" is the most common one, letting the other player draw an approximate 5 cards, which is extremely common. Then there's Imperial Iron Wall, which stops the removal of the Dragons for their summon. Since we only have the big dragons to contend with, without the smaller FIRE Dragon, we only have to hope the opponent draws a single Blaster, if any at all.
Guest (guest) - 2013/04/14 14:43

To be fair, when these cards eventually come to the TCG, we'll be doing exactly the same thing. Everyone will run these dragons due to how powerful they are.

w00t (guest) - 2013/04/14 15:13

le lel

No one will be able to run them due to how overpriced they will be.
. (guest) - 2013/04/15 03:24

tcg isnt even getting the mini dragons
they were promos, and aren't being released in the tcg lord of the tachyon galaxy pack
-,- (guest) - 2013/04/16 12:47

Hmm. so we will not have mini dragons in tcg? This deck is unpleyable without them. It is playable with only 2 of them, but without them i dont see it topping. In that case, get ready for prophecy-format.
datguy (guest) - 2013/04/14 15:40

Money isn't an issue

I think you forgot about a deck called DDT, teleDAD and every other deck every other banlist. At least we have things called reprints now. Guess it's time to go deep during sneak peak.

SCHNEIDER ALAYON (guest) - 2013/04/14 19:26

-_- (guest) - 2013/04/15 11:45

most people complain about price on e drags and told that konami shouldnt create cards like that
just play barbie then

Hachiro (guest) - 2013/04/17 01:55

<< I like the complaining comment XD
Taylor (guest) - 2013/04/17 03:47

d0n (guest) - 2013/04/17 08:41

Red Demon's Dragon/ Red Dragon Archfiend

I've noticed that a lot of decks are running that now. Maybe I'm out of touch with the ocg's meta but what is this card used against?

kendomon (guest) - 2013/04/17 22:29

just simply get-out of the box try new things there is always a way to counter any meta

NaeemDenis (guest) - 2013/04/18 00:07

Quit the sh*t

true story, yugioh is a money game. There will be the players who do what they do to win, and the people who yearn to play creative decks. Now here is the truth, the fun decks are simply NOT OP ENOUGH to keep up with the newer decks. so instead of bishin about decks being op, buck up and make a meta deck. Cause at th end of the day, im not paying 20 dollars to enter a tournament to lose, or with a scrub deck. do what you want, me on the other hand, im gonna do what i need to do in order to win. Even if that means joining the meta.

Joey (guest) - 2013/04/20 08:03

You seem to have forgotten something:

Yu-gi-oh is a game: not some kind of life or death battle. Sure, some decks are outclassed by other decks, but the game was made with the intention of having fun. Why bother playing (and entering tournaments for that matter) if you only play to win, and just use the same kind of deck that everyone else is using? I can't speak for everyone but I have a group of friends that I like to play against, and we like coming up with our OUR OWN DECKS and HAVING FUN!
