Well, it's not out until October, so that's 4 months, which gives us 16 or so episodes of Duels for Yuma to pull out new stuff to fill out a mere 5 cards.

Chimera17 (guest) - 2011/08/03 13:38

We're getting Volcasaurus! Now to hope that Freezerdon comes out too.

fan de yugioh - 2011/08/03 21:53

Oh Shit! Dinosaurusman

mikeR1590 - 2011/08/04 00:36

where are the other duelist packs?

they skipped jack, akiza, and leo from 5d's and what happen with joey wheeler they did yugi and kaiba but not him? he was a main character. for gx i was disappointed no alexis i wanted her ritual monsters and syrus he was a main character the whole time dose any one feel like we lost out because of no kitroid or dragonroid they seemed good enough to make into real cards

HalfDemonInuyasha - 2011/08/04 05:40

Kiteroid and Dragonroid were ones people never really cared about anyway.

Dragonroid in particular was also just a stupidly situational card that would have NO real use effect-wise outside of a Deck that is crappy to work with in real life (trust me, I've tried just for the heck of it to the best I could).

Being a "roid" doesn't matter so much given the HUGE lack of themed support, leaving it as nothing more than a non-Fusion beatstick for the Deck in which they already have Armoroid Gaidengo from the manga, which, while 200 less ATK, at least let's you remove all m/t on the field when Tribute Summoned (using at least 1 "roid").

EDIT: As for Volcasaurus itself, it came out pretty much as I thought it would (in one way anyway. The other being Level 5 Dinosaur-Type monsters for Xyz Materials). But still, I like it and will definitely test it out.
Donnell AKA D-Nasty TEAM ARCLIGHT (guest) - 2011/08/05 17:45

Like I said... Aki sucks.

Whoever said DP Alexis nice to go out and SHOOT THEMSELVES she was the worst part of GX, but every chick is GX sucked, cept yubel and she was HALF MAN!

DP Joey or Jack would have been cool. especially if they released some of Joey's BROKEN CARDS (dont make me list them).

Rex (guest) - 2011/08/05 18:31

First try learn to use the characters realy name.
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2011/08/06 03:36

How exactly was she "the worst part of GX"? Her Ritual stuff was hardly THAT bad.

And Aki was still the one responsible for Black Rose Dragon and Grow-Up Bulb, if you forgot.

And if they did release some of such things from Jounouchi or ANY character, expect them to end up watered to the point where you'd more than likely hate them anyway, so what would be the point of releasing them? =\

EDIT: It'd be nice if Dododo Warrior stays the same as the anime.
Fan de Yugioh (guest) - 2011/08/16 19:20

Oh man...

I'm going to have to buy a TON of these packs now. Volc and Freez... damn.

HalfDemonInuyasha - 2011/08/16 19:30

Bah...took the first effect of its kind (re-supplying Xyz Material Monsters to an empty Xyz) and warped it around. It's still not too bad an effect overall though. Replacing it with substituting materials for others.

Scion of the Flames (guest) - 2011/08/16 23:58

Did I miss any?

Kale (guest) - 2011/08/18 02:38

does Gonogo count here? XD
HalfDemonInuyasha - 2011/08/18 20:13

Was Gorogol in the OCG.

Zubaba counts (in terms of sound effect monsters, lol), but not having the same 2 letters over and over.

There's also Achacha.
Stardust (guest) - 2011/08/19 07:24

in terms of having repeated syllables, there's also Giant Shadow of Egotism, which is "Kyoei Kyoei" in Japanese.
There are also Bye Bye Damage, Shadow Lizard ("Kagetokage"), Release Lease, Damage Diet ("Dameji Daieto"), Flip Flap, and Wonder Wand ("Wanda Wando").

anyway, lol the captcha for this post is "core"
Vince (guest) - 2011/08/19 08:31

I love how in Japan, they're still referred to as "Exceed" monsters, when in the TCG we got the stupid name of "Xyz", stupid name really...

Sho Shinjo (guest) - 2011/08/21 19:23

Not really.

Well, they're "Exceez" (エクシーズ), not exactly "Exceed" (which would be エクシード). And it happens that "Exceez" is the pronunciation of "Xyz", so you never know. It might be the intended name, but with Engrish it's always hard to tell.
