During your Main Phase, you can activate this effect by selecting 1 WIND Monster you control. Return the selected Monster to its owner's hand, and afterwards, you can Normal Summon 1 WIND Monster. The effect of "Harpie Dancer" can only be used once per turn. While this card is on the field or in the Graveyard, it's card name is treated as "Harpie Lady".

Harpies??

a harpie card getting printed in V-Jump. It's good that more harpies are being printed but this card is kinda -1 cause you have to discard to summon another harpie from hand but maybe this isn't the full effect.

I'm happy as it's a harpie card just long as it doesn't take that long to be printed in TCG.

I think the effect is supposed to be different. The monster is supposed to be returned to the hand, not discarded, according to others. That would make more sense, since that would be amazing with divine wind of the mist valley.

Seeing as the last thing that happens is the normal summon and not the sending back to the hand it probably loses timing.

shouldnt miss timing

according to the wording right now, the normal summon is optional, so it shouldn't miss timing if u choose not to normal summon.

True. Looked over the optional part of the normal summon and thought it was forced to summon. If this is really the text then you can abuse it with Divine Wind of Mist Valley if you don't do the normal summon.

"If... you can" effects can never miss timing. Divine Wind will start a new chain after Dancer's effect resolves, regardless of whether or not you use its normal summon effect.
