I bet Konami were thinking 'trolololol' when they named this set.

A (guest) - 2012/08/06 12:53

Cosmic Blazar Dragon

Any chance of this card coming out in this set? Or am I just hoping for too much?
danierulynx - 2012/08/06 15:11

That would be a curve ball on par with IRL Seal of Orichalcos. Besides, it wouldn't be in a ZEXAL-era set anyway. Perhaps in some crazy special promo pack along with Colorless. A guy can dream, =P

Konami taking the piss will be officially confirmed once we get 804 - Colorless Chaos, ;P

Just like when all the players immediately went "ZOMG!!! MO CHAOS MONSTAAAZZZZ!!!!" with CSOC/Crossroads of Chaos, DT05/Champions of Chaos, ORCS/Order of Chaos, and so on.

Konami was probably snickering the whole time. XP lol
DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2012/08/06 13:26

Couldn't they have made the name a bit longer? I think it is too short for a Yu-Gi-Oh! card, it would be a waste of room in the name bar of the actual card... I mean Gustaphs name was already pretty short...

konami, wtf -_-

GX-Kai (guest) - 2012/08/06 21:05

Translate

That's because the name is translated to English. It has a shorter name in its real Japanese name
DarkDragonphoenix (guest) - 2012/08/07 15:14

I know, but it's not too short in Japanese either imo...

Crimson Samurai (guest) - 2012/08/06 17:14

If they did included Fire monsters in this set, would u think this set would include more Flaming Star monsters? Also now we get to see Dr. Fakers cards.

Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/08/06 17:32

Called it.

As I predicted, it be a fire set! (Well, that's definitely what it sounds like anyway.) Can't wait for this one, and the inevitable Wind set to follow it.

finally a fire boost. LETS PRAY FOR A WIND!
pdidy (guest) - 2012/08/06 18:29

Looks awesome

Can't wait to see the new cards coming out! Definitely will have the new ZeXal Weapons and Heraldic cards. I'm hoping that this is a Fire deck, they've needed some good support for awhile. I'm also hoping that they make the Sphere Field into a card (since it is technically a field spell).

TheDarkAngelRocket (guest) - 2012/08/07 06:27

Re: pdidy

Deck? LOL. This is a set, not a deck.

And I can't see any of the WDC field spells being cards.

Sounds kinda scary to me xD, just hoping it lives up to its name being super strong, an being like a rank 11 or 12 or something, also if this is a fire set i will be very happy :D

Mind Haxorz maybe? D.3.S. Frog?

I think it's pretty clever with mixing "Heart" and "Earth", yet all "Earth" is is "Heart" with the H moved from the left side to the right.

And considering it's Dr. FAKER's card, it's fitting that it's a FALSE Skeletal God Dragon too.
danierulynx - 2012/08/08 19:36

Plus it's based on the term 'false god', which is essentially what Dr. Faker aspires to be.

I'm gonna' say this here rather than up in the post, but you can almost guarantee that No. 53: False Skeletal God, Heart-eartH will be in this set too. Not gonna' add it until it's *actually* confirmed though. We try not to speculate here.

Tsuna - 2012/08/16 23:14

Seriously?

I thought it would have been obvious that Heart Earth would be in the set just because of Dragon. Then again, I have seen people that get 5 out of 2+2.
dragon master of the tcg - 2012/08/08 21:03

lets just hope its not another archtype set

since the start of the zexal era every set has been way to loaded with archtypes and very little support for older decks and this is getting to be stupid, konami overpower an archtype for 3 sets then ditch them for the next fad. Whats needed is another phantom darkness or light of destruction set you know the attribute based with very few archtypes (and still one of the best sets to date) so players who dont use archtypes can start to enjoy the game again

Anonymous (guest) - 2012/08/08 21:20

Konami's actually done a good job providing good general Attribute support in Series 8.
dragon master of the tcg - 2012/08/08 22:05

not really when you compare it to pre series 7 when you would get one mabye two archtypes to a set and the rest general support now with the exception of light and water which get to much support its almost all archtype, although return of the duelist did do an ok job with earths they went overboard with spellcasters, i just miss the days when decks and duels were done with skill and error testing unlike today where its just collect the cards and you have a deck which is easily abused with annoying loops (wind up, inzektors and hieratics)
danierulynx - 2012/08/08 23:14

@ GX-Kai

I've deleted your comment because there was absolutely no need for such immature hostility. If you have a difference of opinion then you're of course free to voice it, but I will not tolerate insolence. You have been warned.
ShiroRyu - 2012/08/09 11:15

Light of Destruction was archetype-based. You had Lightsworn and Arcana Force primarily. Yes, it had a few support for generic LIGHT decks, but the archetypes (namely the Lightsworn archetype) overshadowed the generic attribute support, much like with the past couple of sets.

Solution is to use archetypes. You don't even have to ditch an archetype after for the next one, just because 'everyone else' seems to. Example: I still play Lightsworn and Fabled, and because I've been constantly adapting them I can still rely on them. I pick up new archetypes from time to time too, and stick with them if I can see myself still playing the deck in a year's time.

And if you're adamant about not playing archetypes (despite it pretty much being the unwritten core of Yugioh), you can always play anti-meta, Final Countdown, Exodia, or the popular choice: Chaos (or Chaos Dragons, if you're not concerned about them being hit by the banlist soon).
dragon master of the tcg - 2012/08/09 20:40

ok so LODT was a bad example but PTDN was a dark set with almost no archtypes and to date is still the best set ever released as it has spashable dark support, and you seem to miss my point which was instead of archtypes and other peoples ideas that you build your own, im a dragon user but refuse to do chaos dragons as they lack the variety of a rogue deck, archtypes are not the answer there the problem which most player nowerdays dont seem to understand that its there own fault for cards being so expensive (e'.g rescue rabbit a card that has no place in a dino deck yet people seem to pay silly amouts for) . my personal belief is that we should use archtypes for fun and rogue decks for tournements so we can stop having mirror matches and people claiming that "X" deck is so great just cus it won so many tourneys when 30% of players run the deck
ShiroRyu - 2012/08/09 23:08

First of all what deck would you use Rescue Rabbit in if a 'Dino deck' is no place for it? Besides the deck revolves around Rescue Rabbit, not the Dinosaurs. When we get Heliolope (assuming Rabbit survives September) that'll likely be used alongside the Dinosaurs.

Secondly, just because you use a deck focussed on a particular type, doesn't mean everyone else should do the same.

Thirdly, even if we abolished archetypes, there'd be particular decks that do better than other decks, and people will netdeck them. Thus, you'd still see mirror matches and the same deck over and over. This happened with Plant-Synchro and Tele-DAD. And guess what - both of these decks dominated their respective formats.

Let's take Plant-Synchro. That's not an archetype, that's a deck based around several monsters (the Plant-type ones being key) that made it ridiculously easy to synchro summon whatever monster you needed. And it dominated. Personally I think archetypes are a much better way to go, because instead of 1 all-powerful deck getting access to all or almost all of the best cards of the time, we instead have 5 or 6 decks, all with different tactics and weaknesses instead of 1 deck that can do all the things.
dragon master of the tcg - 2012/08/09 23:51

again you seem to miss the point i did say make to build your own deck and not someone elses but this idea seems to have been killed in the last 2 years cus people believe that a perticular deck is good when a disproportionate amount of people play it thus giving the apperrance of it been a good deck, i use dragons thats just me but with 4000+ cards you could make tens of thousands of different decks that could be attribute/type based or getting out a certain card but instead its archtype based for a few reasons which im sure you know.
at the end of the day it does boil down to preferance but my point still stands that todays game is to heavy on archtypes (which isn't helped by konami churning 4 + every set) i just feel that more genralized sets would bring some much need varetiy to the game and allow players to build a deck they can be proud of cus they made it, im just hoping this set is like PTDN so we can have older decks (including archtypes) get some new life into them so we can see something different at the championships
john capote (guest) - 2012/08/10 00:25

duh fool

Of course this will be another archetype set.A set to do with fire.Just like the next one after this will be for wind or dark.Wait, those are attributes. If you have not noticed,Every new set is attribute orientated. So what if they are archetype based sets, you the only one complaining.Yugioh is moving in a new direction, get on and enjoy the ride or quit and play something else.
dragon master of the tcg - 2012/08/10 00:35

so cus you tell me to do what everyone else does you think i will, i play for fun and to test my skills not to do what everyone else does

predictable

they follow the pattern of:
Sealing Ceremony of Mokuton (EARTH) from EXVC
Sealing Ceremony of Suiton (WATER) from PHSW
Sealing Ceremony of Katon (FIRE) from ORCS
Sealing Ceremony of Raiton (WIND) from GAOV

same with:
Grandsoil the Elemental Lord (EARTH ) from REDU
Moulin Glace the Elemental Lord (WATER) from ABYR

..so its pretty predictable that a FIRE set (in general) is next...

Photon Illuminator (guest) - 2012/08/12 02:46

WHY!?!

Why does the cover card need to belong to Dr. Faker? Is Yuma ever going to get another cover card?!

TheDarkAngelRocket (guest) - 2012/08/12 08:18

Re: Photon Illuminator

There are a lot of main characters and ace monsters in each series, so Yuma isn't going to have the cover card in every set. Yusei and Judai certainly didn't.

GX cover cards:
Lost Millenium- Chronos
Cybernetic Revolution- Ryo (and later Sho)
Elemental Energy- Judai
Shadow of Infinity- Kageyama (later Martin and Yubel)
Enemy of Justice- Ed
Power of the Duelist- Judai
Cyberdark Impact- Ryo (and later Sho)
Strike of Neos- Judai
Force of the Breaker- O'Brien
Tactical Evolution- Johan
Gladiator's Assault- Judai
Phantom of Darkness- Yubel
Light of Destruction- Judai used it, but the card really belonged to Fujiwara

5D's cover cards
The Duelist Genesis- Yusei
Crossroads of Chaos- Aki
Crimson Crisis- Jack
Raging Battle- Rua
Ancient Prophecy- Ruka
Stardust Overdrive- Yusei
Absolute Powerforce- Jack
The Shining Darkness- Crow
Duelist Revolution- Yusei
Starstrike Blast- Yusei
Storm of Ragnarok- Harald
Extreme Victory- Yusei

Note the pattern that the other major characters will typically have their cards cover the first few sets of a series, but then the main character will take up most of the later sets as that series resolves. Right now there are two sets for Ryoga, two sets for Kaito, one set for Yuma, one set for Gauche, and one set for Dr. Faker. There will be a few more sets for the ZeXal characters.

And besides, Yuma currently has possession of Revise Dragon and Heroic Champion - Excalibur. Once he beats Dr. Faker and Shark, Yuma is destined to get their Numbers as well. Really, Yuma has covered 5 of 7 sets so far.
to Photon Illuminator (guest) - 2012/08/12 13:25

why ?

Coz it's a dragon.

Nuff said.
Drewko (guest) - 2012/08/12 13:57

WTF?

Stop fucking about dragons on the covers.
Their large number is visible only in the 5D's era, and it is only because they were the main plot of the anime.

I think you mean "feasible" not visible. right?
ScionoftheFlames (guest) - 2012/08/13 23:44

I wonder if we'll get a new fire-support field spell. I wish for more Pyro support than fire support in general.

Yes, me too, we dont have Pyro support, except for Royal Firestorm Guards.
plasma (guest) - 2012/08/14 12:32

Xicokiko (guest) - 2012/08/15 00:46

7th Attribute

It's really cool that FIRE and WIND are getting support, finally. A booster series contains 7 boosters and there are 7 attributes (how convinient), yet there's always an attribute that's left out. The only attribute with an astonishing number of 4 members and 0 support cards. I think it deserves some love too.

romeo (guest) - 2012/08/19 22:48

Volcanics

Hopefully, volcanics get support this set.

joey (guest) - 2012/08/30 11:41

I couldnt agree more, additional volcanic support would simply be amazing(preferably something other than destruction and moderate burn). However, seeing as how they've been out for so long, only lasted for about 3 packs, and only had 1 new card in each pack after force of the breaker, I wouldn't expect them to ever do that. Not saying I wouldn't like it, I'm just saying I highly doubt it.

...

I know it is too early to tell, but this set might have the FIRE Elemental Lord, just like the last set had the EARTH and WATER ones. Can anyone possibly imagine how retarded Lavals(and possibly Evols and Flamvells) would be with him? I have a feeling that with said Elemental Lord, they would jump to Teir 0.5 AT LEAST.(unless Konami hits them next format) I know they haven't done anything since last format, but they were Teir 1. I'm just saying that with the possible FIRE support(the FIRE Elemental Lord) in Cosmo Blazer, Lavals, and to a lesser extent, Evols and Flamvells, would be good enough to to be Teir 1 or possibly above this format.

Nomis (guest) - 2012/09/09 10:25

Good thinking sir
Spicer (guest) - 2012/09/15 05:33

Oh I agree sir. I'm hoping to get a fire elemental lord, I'll be trolling with my evols. >:)
Alltec (guest) - 2012/09/14 19:38

Finnaly some news!

ywontuc - 2012/09/14 23:28

So sharks? my life is officially gone :/

joey (guest) - 2012/10/22 12:10

With all due respect,

I don't see how sharks in this set would have anything to do with that.
Juelz Anthony Cruz (guest) - 2012/09/15 05:30

These Cards are broken. and wow 1 more water support.

wth (guest) - 2012/09/15 13:37

Non sense

You don't even know what they do but they are broken. Lulz.
Joey (guest) - 2012/09/17 12:38

To be fair,

The pack before this was almost completely dedicated to water. and on top of that, there's still some 70 more cards yet to be revealed, so they might get something else.
Juelz Anthony Cruz (guest) - 2012/09/18 20:44

Trust me noob they're broken. lulz ;)
Joey (guest) - 2012/10/22 12:13

you miscounted

by my count, that's 8 new water supports.
Riku (guest) - 2012/09/15 15:00

More Photon supports please! (Photon Delta Wing, Photon Pressure World and Photon Sublimation and it's perfect!)

Alltec (guest) - 2012/09/15 16:32

you just got kaito pack -.- no kaito cards will be here only tron/yuma/faker/shark for anime cards
Riku (guest) - 2012/09/16 13:07

Yeah, I know...

There are still a lot of cards Kaito plays that are not release in OCG.

Ok a lot of these a useless but I hope Photon sublimation (Draw engine) and Photon Pressure World (Field for Photon) will be release in a future Booster set.

And of course New Galaxy and Photon cards! Yes, I can dream X__X
ZONE (guest) - 2012/09/16 18:27

A new set worth wanting!

AkiraPhoenix (guest) - 2012/09/18 14:56

YESSSSSSS

Now I can finally make my Flaming Star deck... its so beautiful -i cry- :'(

SynjoDeonecros (guest) - 2012/09/18 15:20

I agree; Fire and especially Beast-Warrior decks have been seriously needing support for a while, now, so I'm happy.
Nickcool1996 (guest) - 2012/09/18 15:19

The S/Ts are named after stars

So excited xD

Can't wait for Polaris' effect.

Crimson Samurai (guest) - 2012/09/18 18:16

Disappointed

At first I thought the Flaming Star monsters was going to be interesting with the whole Synchro and Xyz type of thing, but seeing all the new ones focusing on Flaming Dance spell/trap, I'm extremely disappointed. Also, none of them met the conditions with Flaming Star Master - Choten, witch means Flaming Star Master - Choten and Flaming Star Marquis - Hoshin are useless. I hope Assault of the Flaming King structure deck could shed some light in this.

SalvoDAD - 2012/09/18 19:54

Yes, i'm disappointed too. Flaming Star seems to be pushing FIRE, but now it's only new support for Beast-Warriors. And with the focusing on the "Flame Dance" Spell/Trap Cards, it's too bad and nothing different than the "Prophecy"/"Spellbook" archetype.

Konami has certainly not new ideas.
Alltec (guest) - 2012/09/18 18:22

Well i guess i was wrong about flaming stars being in vjump, well fuck it i love how this is looking this archtype is going to highly playable and thats withouht seeing how good Assault of the flaming king and vjump8 fire cards are!!! amazing!! B-W 4evahh!

peter (guest) - 2012/09/18 20:54

number 92 and 53

I am annoyed as i predicted konami have tampered with their abilities that were shown on the anime e.g. the battle positions from the anime were axed and you now have to remove an xyz material in order to banish cards placed on the turn by your opponent whereas in the anime it was an automatic effect for number 92 as for number 53 the anime prevented its destruction from monster, spell and trap effects the equip monster ability has also been axed
ywontuc - 2012/09/19 04:53

92 and 53

they are good enough plus the anime 92 had no material removal so at least you don't have to play 3 cards to use his effect so rank 9 death deck of death away :P
cyber (guest) - 2012/09/18 21:06

Xyz Remora...

Why do they try soooooooo hard to avoid the "reduction of required xyz materials" and "one monster splitting in half and counting as 2 materials" effects. I don't want to summon separate monsters to pathetically mimic that effect. They already screwed up double lance, photon kaiser, bubble bringer, heck they'll probably screw over orichalcum chain and gimmick puppet - nightmare if they get released. Pissing me off!!!

Oh, and on a side note Heart-eartH dragon's artwork is very unfitting. Should have a darker aura background and body should be more serpent-like.

Medigo (guest) - 2012/09/19 11:18

you do realize two-material monsters like that would be INSANELY broken?
also XYZ remora is so much better this way
Joey (guest) - 2012/09/22 11:20

Holy crap

Did anyone else notice what I just did? If you use the effect of xyz remora, you are allowed to use the summoned monsters for synchro materials!
Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/09/18 23:33

Flaming Stars

A run-down of these cards is in order, I think. Ridiculously searchable (and by that I mean pretty much every monster in the archetype revealed so far sets one to the field) RotAs, Double Summons, a HotPB clone (which will likely give 1000 atk to target monster), and another one yet to have its effect confirmed, however there's word that it prevents all Flaming Stars from being destroyed by card effects. A draw engine, a 5-star monster that sheilds all Flaming Stars from being targeted, a monster destroyer, a m/t destroyer, a draw engine (likely 2 dances for 2 cards), a recursion engine, a negater that practically summons itself again upon destruction.

What were you saying about a less insane format?

Cosmos (guest) - 2012/09/19 06:54

I'm agree with you...
But, at the same time, I'm quite worried about its sustainability... It seems, they're more of control-paced instead of fully aggro (except for their insane last trap card), and once they're out of bullets, they'l be rendered useless...

Well, it is just my quick judging after seeing them.. But who knows their true potential ?
SuperNova (guest) - 2012/09/19 09:48

Humm....

I have a feeling i'm going to spend a lot of cash on this, oh well, Flame on!!!
Also, I think it is cool how the Color of the flame around the Flame Star monster depends on their strength and or level.

swgeo (guest) - 2012/09/20 23:02

one card is gonna sky rocket again

damn, i better find some horn of the phantom beasts right now! flaming stars look awesome and super consistent! very excited for a fire deck that doesn't spam synchros and waits on rekindling for once

ywontuc - 2012/09/21 21:18

just like iron core decks :/
aswome (guest) - 2012/09/26 04:19

number 92 and 53 are going to be so broke
Joey (guest) - 2012/09/28 08:42

Lavals can work just fine without rekindling, everyone else is just to scared to try it
john capote (guest) - 2012/09/26 19:15

great archtype

This is going to be a very good set.Flamestar are going to be really good, plus once we know the effect of the fire elemental lord.We might be wishing they never made this deck. This deck is going to be very powerful and a lot of people are going to complain about it lol.....Everyone prepare for a water/fire format, its going to happen lol

number hunter (guest) - 2012/10/06 05:03

coment 92 as in number 92 its so broken alone with number 53
pen15 cluber (guest) - 2012/10/06 17:32

laval are about to burn a hole in everyones dreams! :)

The night will fill with flames and all the burning screams of those i vanquish with the all powerful fire elemental lord! ;) get ready to pee yourselves! :p

Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/10/11 22:54

Pompain the Spiritual Flame-Residing Lord (8*/FIRE/Reptile/2800/2300)

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Cannot be Special Summoned except from your hand whilst having 5 FIRE monsters in your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 face-up monster on the field; destroy that target and inflict damage to both players' Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster. The effect of "Pompain the Spiritual Flame-Residing Lord" can only be used once per turn. When this card leaves the field, skip your next turn's Battle Phase.

YUCK!!!

I think the new fire support so far is garbage. The Flame Dance monster and the spell/traps sucks. I am not asking for the nuts, but it makes Lightrays,Prophecy,Atlanteans and Mermail look amazing compared to these garbage. Plus the art work and names are ugly.

I am praying for some type of generic support for FIRE. Laval have enough help. I wanna run some fucking VOLCANICS GODAMMIT!
Konami fix it!!

Fire, Once per turn banishing D-Draw
fire reborn that inflicts damage
Fire boss monsters. The Elemental Lord better be broke as hell!!!

Urai (guest) - 2012/10/15 14:22

umm

no more broken card(s) please
it have to be good not broken
That One Guy (guest) - 2012/10/16 00:51

RE: YUCK!!!

:| The Fire Stars and Dances don't suck.
Prophecy, Atlanteans, and Mermails weren't bad either, but yeah they are better than these cards, but Lightrays....really? Those trully do suck, don't compare Fire Stars to that Sh*t. The Art and names are just your opinion.

My Opinion, Volcanics Suck, and why woyld they revive and old archetype like that?

And if you couldn't tell from the previous Elemental Lords, teh Fire one will probably be a Super Charged Version of Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai.
Joey (guest) - 2012/10/16 09:32

that's not entirely true.

Firestars really don't suck at all. As a matter of fact I made them on dueling network, and to tell the truth, they are broken as all hell! They are unimaginably consistent(almost as bad as inzektors), are very versitile, and everyone I've faced has either hated them, or wanted to copy them because of how good they were. on a side note, more volcanic support would be awesome, but sadly I think that ship has sailed.
Mokona (guest) - 2012/10/15 16:30

Hokuto no deck 'XD

john capote (guest) - 2012/10/15 16:54

mermail?

Great more mermail support. Its a fire set why have more mermail cards when they are already beating face in ocg :(

That One Guy (guest) - 2012/10/16 00:47

RE: mermail?

The new Archetypes seem to be getting two sets of support(with the exception of Geargia), it wouldn't surprise me if More Fire Stars and dances came out in the next set(Wind)
Dark Highlander (guest) - 2012/10/16 16:11

why konami?

it's a walking ring of destruction... why konami would release something so broken?
EwokNinja94 (guest) - 2012/10/16 22:44

These Elemental Lords

I'm starting to see that all these Elemental Lords have an effect of a previously and/or currently banned spell or trap.

The Earth's is Monster Reborn
The Water's is Delinquent Duo (albeit probably better as you don't pay 1000 and your opponent gets no choice)
The Fire's is Ring of Destruction

What next? The Wind's will be Harpie's feather duster!?
Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/10/17 11:18

Another thing to note is that whilst also having effects copied off of forbidden/previously forbidden cards, the effects are also at the same time upgrades of the Spiritual Arts. Thus, it's safe to say that the WIND lord will be Trap Dustshoot, the DARK one will be Pot of Greed (brace yourselves kids), and the LIGHT one will be Dimension Fusion.
Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/10/16 15:04

So there's new cards

And unsurprisingly, the FIRE elemental lord is a RoD clone. The FIRE knight is better than the WATER one at least, Advance of the Sovereign will be great in frogs-oh wait it's a continuous spell. FUUUUUUUUUUUUU

It also looks like the Haze Beasts are another new archetype to take up more space-umad prophecy, madolche? Hopefully we'll get more info than just their trademark name soon.

medigo (guest) - 2012/10/16 20:35

considering the last set we got new Ice Counter monsters
I'd say its a fair bet that Haze Beasts are this sets generic fire archetype, rather than a longlasting family that will get new members in the WIND set (like the Madolce, Mermails and Fire Stars)
john capote (guest) - 2012/10/16 15:13

fire elemental lord

So the fire elemental lord is bad ass.Sure both players take damage but who cares as long as your life points are higher than your opponent.I really like it and it will be so good in lavals

Fob4eva - 2012/10/17 02:29

Game Winning Card there
Rex - 2012/10/17 20:56

I think

It's better whit Jurrack because he is Dinosaur-type (Of course It oky whit laval too)
So you can use it whit solidatary
Joey (guest) - 2012/10/18 09:08

In response to your thought rex...

I agree that this card would be very useful in jurracs(especially with solidarity). However I feel that lavals can benefit from it more seeing as how they have several ways to manipulate the monsters in the grave.

Spike Brother (guest) - 2012/10/18 19:59

wrong

This is a dino, I've checked with a japanese Evolsaur.
Somebody?! (guest) - 2012/10/18 11:24

Reborn Medal

So now Heraldics have their own Miracle Fusion and their own Monster Reborn. Let's just hope the other Heraldics are at least half-decent (anime Leo *shudders*) to go with it.

AkiraPhoenix (guest) - 2012/10/18 16:08

Haze Beast

So Haze Beast seem to be pretty bad ass. A couple of them have 200 defense but I'm not going to use them for lavals. Lavals actually bore me to be honest. The whole waiting for rekindling thing is stupid. Got bored with lavals not long after playing them. And Jurracs really arent for me. So I'm happy they're finally coming out with new fire support and archtypes.

Joey (guest) - 2012/10/19 07:18

I'm gonna get a lot of bad responses but...

If you were bored of lavals merely because of rekindling, then you should try running them without it. They can function perfectly fine without it, but still be fun without being broken(I run them myself so I know).
john capote (guest) - 2012/10/18 17:40

quick play power amplifier

this quick play magic card is really awesome. Can grab book of moon, forbidden lance or chalice, and mystical space typhoon. That is really good.I see a lot of players using that card....Elemental lord is garbage now.First it said the whole atk both players would take..Now it says half of it..Its bad and i like the water one better.Having your opponent lose 2 cards is better than taking 1500 or less lp in a turn.Heraldic Beasts will be good as hell too.I really like this set as well.Bout time konami makes all the sets they are making really good.

ywontuc - 2012/10/18 22:56

lol at firelord is bad.
Joey (guest) - 2012/10/19 07:24

I don't think it's too bad. I mean sure, it's not amazing now, but keep in mind you can still destroy a monster(doesn't say face up, so that could be helpful . Also unlike the water elemental lord, it doesn't say that you can only use the effect once per turn, so once you have the right set up you could use up to three in the same turn. and if nothing else, people could use it for fun.
Joey (guest) - 2012/10/19 07:29

My bad.

I guess the firelord is only once per turn. oh well, should still be a pretty fun card to use at least.
yuseiisagod (guest) - 2012/10/19 15:06

you do realize after summoning the monster you can still attack right? That's the best use for him, take out a single opposing monster, inflict damage, and then attack directly. You could easily deal like 4000 damage that way. The same people used to do with RoD, use a strong monster or equip mage and united, attack directly, when life is low enough, ring it for game.
ZW (guest) - 2012/10/19 06:12

Tornado bringer

Hi shriek tornado bringer is dragon type not warrior type

Joey (guest) - 2012/10/22 12:04

I'm actually relieved to see that haze beasts are fire as well. Firestars seemed pretty fun at first, but after using them on dn, I now know that they are complete and utter bullsh#t. Even if I could manage to run them, I would hate the idea that I was using one of those decks that others were spamming just to win with no effort(soko will probably get limited eventually anyway). I've always been a fire user and even though haze beasts seem like they'll be wierd to use, hopefully they can make a deck I can have fun with.

ZW (guest) - 2012/11/05 13:28

Orbital 7

CBLZ-020 ORBITAL 7 as monster card with yes-sir counter? lolx

Squeezel (guest) - 2012/11/05 16:13

Lolz

Mermail - Leadabyss

Anyone noticed this monsters head looks like Sin from Final Fantasy 10?

LG (guest) - 2012/11/10 06:19

Bird-Type

"Terrorfang Wolf Diayawolf" effect talks about a Bird-Type monster, can be a new Type ?

Scarlet (guest) - 2012/11/10 07:45

Uh

That would be "Winged-Beast"
skeptic steve (guest) - 2012/11/10 08:51

am i the only one who read certain fx thinking, wooo, potential for abuse, only to read a restriction and say damn you konami for knowing better lol?
regardless lots of interesting concepts and ideas coming from the set so far....
